Type of Permits
​

Normal Permits

• They have a blue background and are unlocked by increasing your Mayor Level.
• Each time you unlock a normal permit type several free permits are awarded also.
• To construct these buildings you will need to pay a construction fee which shows in the depot window as well as a specific amount of materials for each construction stage (some homes have more stages)
• Demolishing will return the permit to the depot, and it can be reused again. To reuse, the fee as well as the materials must be paid again.
• Extra permits can be bought from the depot (except for manufacturing facilities) but they cost MetroMoney. Price for these extra permits will increase with each purchase.
• Demolishing buildings will result in progress loss (rent/production cycles and level will be reset to 1)

Premium Permits

• They have a yellow background and are unlocked by increasing your Mayor Level.
• Unlocking a premium permit does not award any free permits. They cost MetroMoney to acquire. The cost is deducted only after construction has been placed in the city
• Construction is free and building is ready to be unlocked once it is placed in the city.
• Price for extra permits also increases with each subsequent permit.
• Demolishing will return permits to depot and can be reused free of any construction charge.
• Demolishing buildings will result in progress loss (rent cycles and level will be reset to 1)

Exclusive Permits

• They have a yellow background and are obtained via several methods:
  • rewards from weekly or special events
  • rewards from booster packs
  • rewards from loot-o-matic ( city wheel)
  • by purchasing paid packs
  • by purchasing mystery building permits
• Construction is free and building is ready to be unlocked once it is placed in the city.
• Price for extra permits also increases with each subsequent permit.
• Demolishing will return permits to depot and can be reused free of any construction charge.
• Demolishing buildings will result in progress loss (rent cycles and level will be reset to 1)
