Yahoo players account migration

Dear Mayors,

Rising Cities is a very popular game which is offered around the world on many online partner websites. This worldwide availability has many advantages as it allows our community to grow on an international level while allowing the game to gain popularity.

However, one of our partner websites in the US, Yahoo, is now removing our game off their portfolio. If you registered and played Rising Cities via Yahoo, this means your game account is currently linked to Yahoo and won’t be accessible. The good thing is that we won’t leave you alone: In just a few steps, you can link your game account directly to Bigpoint and keep playing Rising Cities with the same game account.

Step 1:
As Yahoo will no longer offer Rising Cities on their website, a layer (see screenshot below) will appear instead when you try to start your game. Please use the form to enter your valid e-mail address. Entering your VALID e-mail address is very important since the e-mail address is needed to send you your new login information and also helps to secure your account. It’s also needed just in case you want to change your data at a later point in time.

Important: Your username will stay the same.





Step 2:
After you entered your valid e-mail address you will be shown a link to a page where you can request a new password. Remember to choose a very strong password, which should be a mix of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers and special characters.





Step 3:
After that, check your e-mails and follow the instructions.
