What if we had a quest that asked us to go to the forum? Hopefully that would increase the amount of active people on the forum.

I agree, I like it. Make it so you have to post on a thread to collect not just sign in. :D:D

no not like cineplex, and not for MM
the quest would simple tell all players that we have a forum, and how to access it, for very useful information.
    No reward required.

Very very very good idea, i havent seen a good idea in a lot of time, just tones of whining.

Needs to have a reward or would not be a quest. True, getting more people to use the forum would be reward enough. They do need an incentive to get over their shyness and fear.

The reward should not be for every post otherwise the system would crash under all of the posts with just one character. Nor should it be for something so valuable as a large quantity of MM's. Maybe some epic residential improvements and/or CC's and/or experience points like most tasks.

I do agree this is the most original idea in a long time kudos to joookeeer.

i dont think its even possible to link forum actions to in game rewarding. its probably a one time reward for clicking forum button.
i know a little programing, and once its outside the game it cannot be monitored.
so yes, a decent MM reward would convince ppl not to skip this quest:)

Wizardelo you are probably correct. But we can dream can we not. Oh ye sharp pin in the room full of overinflated balloons. :)

its because players/people want more then its humany possible that ideas get scraped ( real life examples are plenty)
we need to think small and concise and make our point not only heard but valid so that such implementations can occur.
wishing for the sun and stars makes absolutely no sense, its just spam.

You can reach for the stars and still keep your feet on the ground. That is the human experience. The idea comes first, then the solution. Not the solution, then the idea.

To me the Forum is a place for the free exchange of ideas with no limits. That is why we have people (Nortoncommander and you are great examples) who keep us tethered to the ground. Thanks. :)

Just introduce a marking-system of the threads:

when you read a thread then:

:p if it makes you laugh/happy
:( if it makes you depressed/sad
 if it makes you angry/irritated

    ;)
