    I think that electricity reason is not persuasive for time periodic changes. :)
    Biologic reasons also speak against those changes. :)
    I wonder about psychological effects but only circa 70 countries change time from the total number of countries 194.

    And we should remember about the development of civilization. Time zones were introduced when transportation was so developed that local solar time generated problems. Now we have problems with time again - you don't know what local time I write, I'm not sure what time you write. Airplanes, trains, Internet - we will probably introduce ZULU time all over the world. Ba, what time is on International Space Station now? :D

    The international space station uses Zulu time I beleive. They use UTC 0 time.
