commercial and manufacturing buildings

    Shouldn't commercial and manufacturing buildings reflect the attitude people would really take on them?

    A Doughnut shop for example would lift the spirits of the population in general (except maybe diabetics who would be neutral or at worst dismissive toward it) The smell of fresh baked goods is not something that most people would get grumpy about or have their mood soured by. However, a beer garden, while it is a place of celebration, could be considered a place that could be a drag on mood. Not everyone has a positive reaction to alcohol.

    My suggestion is this since all buildings drag on power and mood at this point, why not turn the tide just a little bit? Make the veggie stand, doughnut shop, Bakery, and smoothie bar increase mood rather than decrease it. I haven't seen beyond this point yet. But these are definitely the types of businesses that people welcome in their communities.

    Uh, my veggie stand give me +48 mood and my smoothie bar gives me +60; actually, all the commercials have a positive mood impact. That's why I build them.

    One of the many tactics to increase mood is to build commercials. Nowadays, we can upgrade them and get even better mood. In the lower levels, I had to build commercials I didn't need to keep the mood high enough to support farms, lumbermills, and brickyards. Not to mention the brewery, it really sucks the mood down. Residents like to drink the beer, but hate making it.

    oops I misread the doughnut shop. I was like ok Who doesn't like Dunkin' Doughnuts really?? my bad

    How about more manufacturing buildings like brick and bread?

  6. i think being able to produce more bricks is a definate asset, there are only 5 claypits in the game land mass possibly being able to upgrade the brick works to level 5 or 6 would be even better or make clay pits available in the next land area upgrade :D:D
