This is not a complaint, just an observation: when will RC open new land for purchase? Looking at all the building permits I have, there's no way to put them all out on the existing land (and keep your power and mood levels up). I like all the new buildings, and realize the difficulty in managing such a huge code, but if you give us things to play with...ought we not be able to play with them?

Hope the mountain area wins; would be ideal for the Winter Sports prize buildings.

As we just voted what team we want I guess they have just started working on it, at least the graphic part.
So I don't think we will see it any time soon :(
    Hopefully I am wrong.

Amen to that: I have very few plots left I can buy, and numerous buildings yet to place (not even counting my event prize buildings). Need land in a bad way and will be stuck doing upgrades while waiting for it. Wish we had at least a general ballpark time frame ;)

they never really give out accurate info. but thats the thing with most games i've tried. always keep the gamer hooked (new stuff coming soon) and never really telling what and when (to avoid being yelled at if deadline is not met).

im not holding my breath, but i'd like to think the next playfield is on the drawing board.

  14. I find Farmerama producer to be amazingly openned and honest with ganers. It seems to me that everything is put on the table quite frankly without playing any silly or fishy games. Obviously the game has been around longer so is a lot better developped. But the difference in communication between Farmerama and RC is really striking one. This is actually the reason why I keep asking for better performace as I know that BP people can and know how to do it. Otherwise I might have just quit and do something else, or at least disappear from the forum and play even more casually then now. But it's fair to note that Farmerama producer is really rather exceptional in her approach and support. It seems to me anyway as I haven't played that many games.

I must say thanks for your comments about Farmerama as I was greatly involved in that game from its commencement. I have been team leader for various games over the past few years and set up the mod teams for Seafight, Darkorbit, Deepolis Zoomumba and Skyrama all progressively and moving on once the teams were established. Farm today has around the same number of tickets as Rising cities but with 6 times the admins and mods so they are able to respond a little quicker than we are. The current producer is wonderful and was able to get a flying start from the four previous producers, with the game at a very high level of completion.
That being said farm like all the other games continues to evolve bringing new challenges.

We did have a huge amount of issues early in the game and many many problems like Rising which, with time were overcome. Now it is relatively plain sailing and we will get the same outcome with Rising cities but it will take time.:D

Piratelee thank you for responding. We the Mayors do understand that your time and energy are focused on improving the game for us. It is nice when you let us know what is going on. When there is no information coming to us we start to speculate and with speculation comes frustration. So Thank You and the Team.

  17. yes i totally agree well said billy :);)

  18. It's cool to read your posts like this and I do enjoy it as it enhances my understanding of whats going on.

Just how does a number of mods and admins have anything to do with producers and developers performance? The fact that we are always missing often crucial info is not due to you holding it back from us, but due to producers and developers just not giving it out. :) or ........ are you suggesting that Wizz is piling producers letters in his drawer? ........... lol Just kidding. :)

It would also be interesting to know other things like why producers change so often, but not sure if you can publicise this info.

Thanks for being openned and helpful to us as much as you can. :D

I second the thoughts of Nortoncommander. The back story is always interesting and helps us understand where you have been and where you are taking us. Thanks.
