trying to buy MM

    I keep trying to purchase MM and production package with credit card but keep getting errors or it just goes through but does not say payment successful. The window then closes and i get nothing.I have sent in several error reports but they tell me nothing is wrong, and they don't know why this is happening. So i hope someone here can get this fixed. It's been going on now for over a month, if i have been blacklisted or what i should get a message saying that. If i have been blacklisted i would like to know why and how do i fix it.

    To see i started a new city under new name and tried the $2.99 package and it worked just fine so what is going on????????????????????

    Please try and clear your browser cache as the game may well have some old data stored that is blocking you.
    We have no issue at the companies end as they always give us a heads up with any downtimes.

    This NOT a cache issue i clear my cache EVERYDAY and also a disk cleanup. That is your solution to everything. If you ACTUALLY READ my last post i said >>>>>>

    So why did it work first try on a new account but not on the one i want to be using????????????????????????????

    I do not want to have to start a new city just cause your payments don't work, if its not fixed by next week i WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS SITE. BP says its not on there end, Credit Company says its not on there end, And your saying its not on your end, and its not on my end because buying MM under a new user name and new city works perfect. Also on my credit card there are pending charges The last 1 is the 1 that worked on the new user name.[​IMG]

  4. Clearing cache isn't a solution to everything, but you'd be surprised at how many problems it can solve.

    Is it possible that the credit card you have registered on the payment system is an old one, and that it has expired? If you started a new account you would need to type in new details and so would not see the same issue.

    When you say "I have sent in several error reports", is that using the ? support icon in the top right of the game screen? This is the only way of getting to payment support, as the forum isn't a secure place to discuss payment information. If this is what you have done, then apologies if I'm suggesting it again, but as everyone uses slightly different terminology for things it's not always obvious what people mean.

    Just tried 2 more times it goes all the way to purchase then the screen closes and i have nothing except $1.11 pending charge on my card.
    But my Card DID work on the new user name see pictures above. that is the point but won't work on this account. And YES i have used the ? on right top of game They say there is no issue, i think its in this user name coding ???????
     
  6. It was only a thought, but every now and then I get a new credit card issued because the old one expired - at that point all my online purchases fail until I type in the new card details. If I started a new account I would obviously type in the new card details straight away. I know BP save credit card details (if you ask them to), and so this might be happening here? It's a long shot, I know, but I thought I'd mention it.

    But why is there $1.11 pending charge on my card then???????????
    According credit company the charge means they are waiting for BP to process the transaction. Except BP says they don't have any transactions.
     
  8. I don't know if it's relevant, but have you tried logging into the game direct at www.risingcities.com rather than via a proxy? Further than that, I don't think I can help, but hopefully something can get sorted out soon.

    Just tried to log on at rising cities says account does not exist.

    This has been going on for about a month now first just errors cant get to payment part, then these pending charges and getting nothing, have used ALL options i.e. error reporting and "?" which is same page credit card company and now forum so what is left for me to do but QUIT a level 34 city. If i can never use payment again then there is no point going on, as far as i'm concerned.

    My point is if it works for another account then something is blocking you at your end.

    I do not want you to lose a level 34 city and this is not about money from my end it is about a player with a problem which I really want to fix.

    Ok all that aside please email support and I will try and forward all your issues to the accounts people myself.

    All support questions come to me so I will do my best to help you.

    Still can't get an answer to my problem from anybody.[​IMG]
    This is the response i get from BP and everyone else so i guess i will quit this site, cause i am NOT going to start over again.

    As I said earlier please dont post here then send tickets on exactly the same subject they all come back to me and that just doubles my work.
