Market's acting funny

Hi,
Whole day I have a problem when collecting money from the market.
When I click 'collect' the hourglas appears and lets me wait a few minutes, but when mouse pointer reapears, it's as I never made that click at all.

Also can't put my products for sale, because when I write a price (lower than max) and click to sell, a window appears, warning me that a price limit has changed... and it happens every time, with every product.

I too am seeing the unusual market problem. Cannot sell products for values they should be at!!!!

 

Can't buy products, either. The frame freezes. It seems that the only way to get out of it is to reload the game or click on no and go without making the purchase.

 

I read this before playing this evening. I had a similar thing happen, but decided to try something different after following the "normal" collection of a sale. As best as I can remember, this is what I did to get my sales to 'follow through' and clear so that I could try to sell more items.
After I clicked to collect, I watched to see in my CC amount increased. If it appeared to have changed in any way, I clicked the x in the upper right hand corner, first for the collection popup. The first few attempts didn't seem to actually add the amount or clear it from my sales. I decided then to add clicking the second x for the SELL tab and then the remaining x to leave the marketplace. That is what finally seemed to add the CC to my account and clear the sale from the marketplace.
Adding a new sale wasn't as easy the first few times either. It seemed at first that a new sale went through to the market, but it didn't show up so I tried again. I'm still really not sure how those I have posted managed to go through and post for sale, because it doesn't work every time. *sigh*

Anyway, even though I somehow seem to sometimes be able post a sale and collect it, I also am still having issues with my marketplace acting "funny".

 

I suppose this is one of those game lag issues. It now hit the market, but I had it many times with other activities. The activity just doesn't go through properly. It usualy self-corrects after a few minutes or after reload, if I can make it. With this market issue, I just closed it when it went out of "freeze" mode, and then did it a few minutes later.

 

I tried that as well, but when it kept doing the same thing over and over, I gave up.

 

I have been having similar issues for the last forty eight hours. it is like the game resets back to a time several minutes earlier all activity previously done has to be repeated. Getting frustrated. Starting to get better in last hour but still happening.

 

Well, I'm hoping that the maintenance scheduled to take place in about four hours does the trick ...

 

I know it's anoying. Now after a few attempts I just switched to Sea-side Town and it worked.

The maintenance is on forum, not the game. Also, from the past you should know that maintenance is often the starting point for bugs and issues. Nearly every major maintenance brought some major bugs and problems. Glad they postponed the money system rework since we have enough bugs already ........

Oh man, what shall we do without forum? I'll probably have to work or something.. (juuuuuust kidding......)

Now the market is failing when trying to buy stuff. I just spins the little circle and then goes back to the arrow with nothing happening.

Sad.

We are aware of the market issues and our devs are looking into this.

 

As my friend the wonderful Wizz has said our dev team are looking at the market as we have many tickets with the same problem.

We do hope they can fix it soon but thanks to all for your patience.

So far it helped me every time: Going to other playfield unlocks the frozen market.

Although sometimes the market gets confused and displays 5 offers instead of 4.

 

Newsflash ... a fire caused by the buildings faulty wiring swept through the marketplace last night, causing extensive damage! The marketplace is now closed until further notice while local developers search for a new building with which to relocate!

 

Those free market capitalist are amazing. They have all ready found a new location and are back up and running. Now if we could only get there prices down.

 

It's really funny. This time collecting was ok, but I couldn't sell. So I went to Beach side and what I couldn't sell in the City was placed ready for sale when I came to Beach side.

 

Hi everyone.
Today market acts a bit better, but not all problems are solved.
Collecting and selling problems still appear every 4th or 5th time
At least credits are collected even when it doesn't look so.
Selling goes easier right after collecting.
I believe the dev team'll fix everything in a day or so.
Until then I'll come to collect the rent at least.
I'm only sorry that some players are going to fail at some events with such a lag going on.

Market still not working properly... and even more aggravating to me, I cannot build new industry. NO new Fisheries for me (I have everything else). I haven't been able to view the industries available for quite some time!
