My security cameras are gone.

When I first got my police station, I saw that I had security cameras and firehydrants in my specials box. Now there not there. I need help if i'm going to expand my police force

 

have you done all the usual thing cleared cache rebooted computer etc

You aren't opening the specials box in the coastal or suburbs areas, are you? They aren't useable or available there.

 

Emergency system is only available in main playfield. if you are on Coast or Suburb these items are not available.

You are right that they should be under Special but you most be in your main play field or you cant see them (only mater if you are level 20+ and have fixed the bridge).
Also if you have placed all of them the camera symbol disappear.
Special permits are uhm special so you cant buy more of them.
To get more of them:
a at low levels when you level up.
b buy the first aid pack (for real money).
c event reward.
d winnings from medal turn ins.
I don't remember but I think you can win them on loot-o-matic to.
