  2. It is a change and a move to greater variety, but I personally wouldn't bother to pay 10 pounds for this. In my view what you get is not worth the money spent.

I also intend to wait. The loot o matic tokens are close to worthless (think realistically -- they are probably worth 10 low level decorations). 1000 MM can more cheaply be bought directly. Which leaves us with 10 very real EU to pay for a virtual building. I am not sure if this is a good deal.
On the other hand, once the mountain field becomes available, I may not withstand the temptation to add a castle to it .

A tip to the developers: if you would offer exclusive (and nice!) permits for buildings for sale independently, for a reasonable price (let's say, 1-1.5 EU per permit), you may get some revenue from this player. You may even get 10 EU in total.

Have to agree the tokens are a bit pointless but interested to see what the numbers are for the castle

This is what I'd like to see more of too. Mystery buildings would be great if they got rid of the mystery and you could buy what you want.

  5. This idea has a full support at our headquarters. :)

The Southern Contingent pledges its full and un-swervable support behind this agenda item for now and for the foreseeable future. :D:D

I totally agree with the comment about purchasing the really cool residences separately. You should make them available for purchase with MM. Go ahead and price them high to encourage spending money if you want, but allow MM so people have something to work for (as in playing the game instead of paying the game). We all know they'll get too anxious and use real money to buy them after saving a while.

I'd love to have a bow style villa, but I can't see wasting any money on lumber for crying out loud.

Yes, I have the same problem. I do have a bow style villa, which I bought when I was starting out, inexperienced enough to think it was worth it, and could still appreciate the other goods in the packs. I would like to have the residences in the education and production starter packs -- but with about 2 million each of education and production points, no way I am going to spend my lunch budget on purchasing them.
I guess we can generalize and say that for advanced players, the packs are worthless, and we are somewhat upset that we cannot get those exclusive buildings (or can only get them if we surrender our self-image as rational beings ;)).

Starter packs not designed for advanced players? Why, you shock me! ;)

I have to admit,I did buy more than a few starter packs, a) they looked nice and b) this was at the time before more power became readily available through events.

My criticism about the game is that the main ways to spend MMs are based on chance, mystery and loot-o tokens. If BP wants to entice us to spend money, give us more 'guaranteed' ways of making it worthwhile

    :D:D:D
My message was: advanced players would also like to have packs.

  12. I'm not interested in buying advanced packs as I would actually like being payed for playing the game, which would probably be the only true justification for me still playing. :D :D :D

But you do get paid..in MMs ;)

  14. And CC, PP and tons of other usefull stuff, that enable me do so much for this needy world, yes. :) Unless we get payed real money, we have already surrendered our immage of rational beings. :D :D :D

Well, there is the slippery slope. Someone who is irrational enough to play (not to mention join in the forum) has not necessarily slide down far enough to buy imaginary houses.. As arbitrary as it is, you need to put a limit somewhere.

  16. Anyone bought this pack?

Yes. I was stupid enough to do it

Well, the castle has got nice stats.
Bit it's still too expensive imo

  19. In a way, I like this package more than others...

Mr. Mungo can you give us more detail why you thought it was "stupid enough to do it". What did you not like, did you like some of it, etc. Thanks

It might help those of us trying to figure out whether to purchase.
