game not loading / disconnection issues

hi colette here 5768033....i am in and enjoying the game it has stayed connected and i am able to collect, i signed in with firefox and had no troubles, thanks if someone fixed this for me

I keep having to refresh the game every few minutes. Is this normal?

 

How normal this is depends on a number of factors, including your internet connection speed, your computer, and the load on the servers, which varies considerably at different times of day, and when events start, etc.

You could try clearing your cache/flash cache in your browser, to see if that helps.

• type of issue: connection lost as I enter a part of the city on log in, white screen while trying to load the city map on log in

• action taken previous to this issue Changed browser, cleared cache

• did it happen after an idle period or during playing. It always has this issue so nothing new on idle. New, is that I can't even get to the city when I log in. It stops at white screen instead of map, or loses connection upon entering the part of the city chosen at map on log in.

EDIT: Just cleared all cache again, shutdown, restart. Same issue in Chrome and IE.

 

I have found that using firefox is more reliable so it might be worth a try

okay thanks I will use firefox , I am not sure but I think that being in an event might have something to do with it as well! as soon as the event shut down I was able to stay on for a longer period of time! I want to do the event today but I am afraid of the disconnection issues popping back up again.....**sigh**** so hard to try to play the game this way:-( cheers,colette

 

Colette, I've found the same to be true. I get the disconnects during events.

 

I also seem to be getting the game disconnects about the time I reach level 3 and they get worse on level 4 of the events. I log in and get disconnected after 5 seconds of reaching the part of the city I map to. this happens about 4-5 times, then calms down for a bit. I usually have enough time to do my production or my rents then log out until the next time when I have trouble again. I have trouble with both IE and chrome. don't have firefox as I don't want it on my computer.

 

Playing events seems to be a problem because for the last week when I wasn't in an event everything was working fine but now that I am with just 24 hours to go...all I see is a blank screen.

Please assist. The game is not loading and I cannot get into the game at all.

Type of issue: Game not loading at all. This has now been the case for more than a month.

Action taken: Changed browser, Cleared cache, restarted computer, used different computer - problem continues.

When did it happen: After playing on a daily basis for more than three months, one day it just did not want to load. I have not been able to enter the game since then.

 

I also am having the problem, I keep getting disconnected, I have tried 3 different browsers, cleared my cache and restarted my computer as well have also tried on another computer - I am still unable to log in, have been disconnected so many times and often it takes up to 12 hours or more before I can log back in!!

I got disconnected twice today when I went to change cities it just hung and nothing happened so after about 10 minutes I refreshed the page and then the problems started - I was unable to get back into the game, it took about 4 hours the first time and now it's been about 30 minutes so far!! I have cleared my cache, restarted my computer and tried 2 other browsers!!!

3 times today, I went to change areas, and when i tried to go back to the city area, it just hung so I refreshed my browser and each time it has taken hours before I can log in again!!! I have tried 3 different browsers, cleared my cache and restarted my computer!!!

PLEASE FIX THIS!!

 

I am on stage 5 of an event. I am just trying to log in before going to bed. I have logged in 8 times over the last 10 minutes. I get to a section of the city, collect 2 houses and loose connection. I switched browsers and collected 16 houses and lost again. I am really wondering if doing an event is worth it since it seems to happen much more during an event.

 

I was playing the game, then got message "Oops lost internet connection" tried to refresh won't load now closed browser cleared cache. Still won't load. Been 20 mins trying won't load.

 

have you also turned computer completely off then try a different browser

Yes and still won't load. Has been over an hour now

 

It will load as far as the navigation screen. Then when you click on the main city map it the city logo starts loading and spinning blue and white. You can leave it 290 minutes and it still wont load. Restart try again and still wont load.

This has been happening now for the last 2 weeks but has gotten so bad that the city wont load at all.
Reboot, cleared cache and even tried new internet platform but it still will not load.
