connection lost

socallivin ID 7371483 - Is the connection lost issue ever going to be fixed? It seems like it works for a while and then the connection lost comes up again...and again...and again.
This is obviously a bigpoint problem since it is happening with their game. Like I said before, it happens much more with Windows 8 than anything else. Just a royal pain in the butt.

I have reported this issue here and to support. I have tried using a different browser, cleared my cache, updated my flash settings. Yet the problem persists. I can get into everything else, but the problem persists when I log into the game. I too think it is a Bigpoint problem. I had an event going but because I am constantly getting this message, I have resigned myself to not completing it. This is unfortunate because if this continues, I may as well give up playing this game.

It is doing right now for the last 45 minutes. It seems that this is completely ignored like we are village idiots and don't know what we are talking about. This is obviously a game problem and like I said before appears to be more of a Windows 8 conflict.

Still doing it...switched to Windows 7 computer and it is still doing it. This is obviously related to the game at this point in time.

 

Lucky you. I am trying to log in since 7:45 am (it is now 10:30 am). I, too, have Windows 7. By the time the map screen finally comes up (it takes on average 10 min, because I am currently on a slow Internet connection) and I am about to click the location of the city I want to go to, I get the grayed out "Connection lost". Completely and utterly frustrating.

I also agree, this is BP related. Given enough time, I have no problem loading any other webpage (despite slow connection), even those that use Flash player, as well.

Thank you Mods for reporting this issue. (Not that we are keeping our hopes up anything will be done about it - it doesn't bring any money, fixing problems of non-paying players.)

 

I'm having the same problem. Game absolutely will not connect. Cannot get past the map screen. On a Mac, using Firefox here, FWIW.

As I said before and to all those that have contacted support (that is also me in this game).
The team are looking at the issue which cannot be program related as it only effects a few but that being said some settings must be causing connection issues with certain system set ups.

Hope that makes sense.

 

Oh great, now the event is over and I am no longer getting that message. Frustrating because if it had been acting right yesterday, I probably could have completed the event. I don't know about this game. id #8411159
