Event Plaza won't load/open

I'm at the tail end of step five in my event challenge, but the event plaza will no longer open. I've tried everything, cleared history, cookies, rebooted several times, tried to open the event plaza in different browsers. Nothing seems to work.

I have a little over 2 hours to go, before my event times out. Can someone help me out here?

PS For what-ever it worth, I've never not finished an event game, this will be a first.

This should now work I have just logged as you and opened it if you need me to start the event just reply.

I nearly completed the entire event (before mishap), and was acquiring my last 23 item from students (step 5). As a result of the crash, I lost my 250,000 CC award, a luxury RV, and ?? experience points.

I think its only fair these items be awarded to me, without having to replay the game.
