it would be nice if we could rotate our buildings. it would also be nice if we had more farm land with all the space we are given more land to place our farms, lumber mills etc would be awesome. also the bonus code should always be available one use for every account that way new players will be able to use them or even if older players missed it, they would be able to use it as well.

  2. It's been my experience that you end up with way more farmland than you need due to limits on number of mill and farm permits. Also, there's more farmland in the coast playfield once you get access to that area.

But, I agree with the building rotating - which has been brought up many times in the forum.

It has been discussed dozens of times and the official, unofficial answer has always been that it would take to much time, energy, talent and resources away from improving the game to go back and redesign all of the structures and features to be rotatable. :( For those of us who can remember the Nineties the same argument created a whole industry to solve the Y2K problem, because no one looked ahead to the future needs of the users. :):)

I like that the buildings has different size - it's a fun challenge to make them 'fit' around a Commercial building :p

most buildings are perfect squares, so rotating is really useless. the only buildings that need rotating are the 2x3 / 3x2 and as kimmi mentioned and i agree: its more challenging to make them fit then making rows

there is also plenty of farmland on coast too, the only real problem is moving farms from one playfield to another.

bonus codes are not really worth much in RC, expecialy for old players, they usualy consist in 5000 CC and such, if you missed one, you havent really missed a great deal.

It would be awesome to rotate all buildings so we could decide how we want them to face. Ex. Face them toward streets/roads. :)

I agree with Kimmi...I have several areas in my city where I have managed to pack in three or more commercial buildings covering a large mass of buildings all packed together like lil' sardinias, and it was fun and challenging learning how to achieve that. Having to deal with the existing shapes of various buildings is part of the challenge, and while aesthetically some buildings might look better turned around I'd rather see new buildings and such as opposed to programming efforts going to a "rotation" tool.
