Extra permits and their percentage price increase

Had a quick look to see if there's been a thread about this already..

Has there been anything official (or can any mayors shed any light) as to the percentage permit prices increase by after each extra purchase? {i.e. a nuclear power plant permit costs me 999MM, is there a way to know what a 4th, 5th permit would cost in advance}

Personally I feel this is a valid question to ask the powers that be. We might decide to buy several of one type of permits if we knew in advance how much the additional permits would cost. The Nuclear power plants are an excellent example. I would need a total of six at this time to match my other plants, coal, wind, solar, small reactors. We are given three permits now the first additional permit is 999 MM's, it would help me decide whether it is cost effective to go all nuclear. But I do not know what the cost for the additional three permits would be. So I wait and hem and haw and do not pull the trigger.

Does anyone have any information.

 

The nuclear power plant MM price increases fairly reasonably, if not to say barely. I bought two additional permits and the next one would cost 1074 MM.

 

It definitely can't be random. It must be a percentage increase. Whether that percentage increase is the same for all types of permits, I don't know. You'd have though the powers that be willing to share info like that.

Useful info, thanks! Tempted to buy a permit at 999 just to see at what rate it increases. 2nd nuclear plant permit costs 1026MM

 

Not counting the 3 free one, if you win one it don't count either.
1 999 MM
2 1026 MM
3 1074 MM
4 1152 MM
5 1274 MM

Edit: 4 and 5 is not maybe anymore but confirmed.

If I can get the first 3 numbers for something else I can see if its the same numbers behind, if so it a good changes its the same for a lot of things.
There was an other thread where we was discussing this but I cant find it grr

 

I remember that thread. I do not think anyone ever published the numbers like you did. I can not find it either.

Ah, I'm almost there. Nice to know there is a max, which seems a lot more reasonable given the system.

 

Looks like it wasn't the max..bought a few (4/5) at 2070 then now it's increased to 2071..I'm assuming (hoping) a similar pattern will continue. In the process of swapping my small reactors for solars.

 

Well, at least it slows down, which is still good to know. I don't think I'll be needing that many of any permit, at least, unless we get more land, perhaps.

 

I have 8 nuke plants built and my next permit will cost 1439. so I'm not sure what formula they use...
