Daily rewards

i've seen this in other games and i think its a good way to keep players to return daily.
they dont have to be something amazing each day but they will make player return if
* they are given daily
* ever 30 days or so you give out a great reward, maybe some premium permit (MM only)

and to keep player invested, you can reset the daily counter each time player skips a day. they will have to start again from Day1

example of rewards:

Day 1 - 100 CC
Day 2 - 100 PP
Day 3 - 100 EP
Day 4 - 100 XP
Day 5 - 100 Tomato
Day 6 - 100 Potato
Day 7 - 100 Wheat
Day 8 - 200 CC
....
Day 30 - 1 wind farm permit

these can replace the silly bonus codes that come once a blue moon.
the downside of this would be if a player cannot log in 1 day due to the usual login errors, and the counter resets, but thats life and he will have to return daily again for a month to get that cool 30day reward

This has possibilities. But let's make the big prize something fixed that you can decide if you are bothered about. Not a random prize where you usually end up with a stupid deco.

It could be something different every month; wind farm, bakery, mill, farm, beer garden, stadium etc.
Surely it wouldn't kill RC to give out a farm every 6 months?

 

Yeah this is a good idea. this would be like most of the other Big point games I have played.

Alias01 That is a very loaded and involved question. Can you be more specific in what you need to know. Broad questions like this are difficult to answer. You have found a wonderful resource in the forum. Go through the various threads and see what has been asked and answered over time this may help. Also in the Forum are the Beginner's Guide So welcome and good gaming

 

normal dailies can be fixed or random, it doesnt really matter much, its just the idea that counts, giving players something for their trouble of login in daily. i'm certain players will log tomorrow again if they know they can get something out of it, not just a "bundle of fun gametime..."
the monthly should indeed be fixed, not random, and they could even advertise the big rewards as a preview, let you know when you can get in 1 month, 3 month, 6 months time.

 

Wizardelo, I am playing devils advocate here, but do we not all ready have daily rewards from City Hall, Winter Stadium, and Christmas Tree. These all yield rewards for logging in once every twenty four hours. True they are not massive rewards and they are not cumulative as your plan. They could be reworked to provide something similar to what you are talking about. I still like the idea.

 

New players don't have Winter Stadium and Christmas Tree.

 

I know, I do not have the Christmas tree myself. I did not understand the game well enough to get at the time. I thought it was a glorified decoration, not something that gave me goodies. But, City Hall is available to all and these or similar options may become available in future events or rewards.

 

i agree with u billy, we already getting dailies,but they are not progressive. it doesnt make me log in daily, because of the 3000 CC i will get tomorrow or in 6 months from now.
so to include your point of view, they can apply my ideas to city hall, everybody has a city hall and instead of crappy rewards every day, every once in a while you can look forward to a great reward! not just pray to lady luck.
