  1. Occasionally when selecting specialists to attend an emergency the green progress bar which goes from left to right is underlined in red or black. I have been trying to work out what this signifies but can't figure it out. Could you explain please.

This usually means the specialist is under qualified for the job.

  5. This doesn't seem to be the case in practice. It happens when there is 100% chance of success and I have all the required specialists.
However it's no big deal, I only asked to satisfy my curiosity about something that seemed totally random and had no effect on success or not. If there's no other explaination available
then I guess I'll keep on wondering.

I have also been curious about this.
Did a little test with an all hospital emergency.
All correct (100%) - nope no line
One wrong med. specialist - nope
Replaced one with a med. rookie - nope
    One police specialist - nope
    A police rookie - nope

Perhaps its something with coverage? I have full coverage so I cant test.

  7. I don't see how it can relate to the specialists as the underline always starts as soon as you select the first one and if that one is correct it can't know if your going to select correct or incorrect ones after that.
I can't say I have full coverage for all departments but it's close, and I don't think I've seen the underline when there's been a coverage problem.
In fact I don't recall it happening when I first started playing and had lower level departments, fewer specialists, and poor coverage. It happens much more often now with all departments at max level, almost full coverage and a good mix of specialists.

I've seen it happen often enough. I think it's just another rendering problem.

  12. Having the wrong specialists or insufficient coverage is indicated by lower percentage chances of success there would be no need to flag it by underlining as well.
