I have a question. The stone terrace calls for a vegetable stand to fill the need, but when I try to place it, it will not let me. Even using the upgraded version of the stand, I am not allowed to put it on the snow. I tried to put it down on the lower part of the land, but it will still not reach. The stone terrace is allowed. Is this correct, or is there suppose to be something else to fill the need. I am just wondering. Thank you.

  2. I have the stone terrace sitting on the border to the low lands with the vege stand just on the other side of the border it works well like that

Thanks, maybe I'll try it that way.

This is the same as a few of the mountain buildings where the third level cannot be accomplished at all.

    We have reported this.:(

OK thanks for letting me know. You can close this tread then. Appreciate it. Also Skippyroo you are better than me at placing, I could get the stand to be placed, it is greyed out when I tried. But thanks anyways again.

    It should look like this:

Note that you will need to upgrade the commercial buildings to be able to reach far. My setup has a level two veggie stand, but you can work other configurations.

Really? The stone terraces here should be accomplishable the same way as the veggie stand. I don't have a slate manor yet, but you should be able to get it with at least a level two ski lodge placed pretty low. It's true that the placement options are rather limited for these buildings though, and especially for the stone terraces the demands are rather high.

Snow area in the mountain map at least one building requires a diner.

Nothing I can see in-game (have all mountain buildings but the premiums for now) or the FAQs show a diner.

Golding Linings estate needs an All Gouda shop(not a diner) that cannot be placed in the snow nor can a fully expanded one reach the snow area. This has also been reported.

My All Gouda is still level one, but if the range in the FAQ is correct, (20x20 at level 3) it can reach the snow area, it's just that both buildings need to be at the edges and you may have to get fancy with the roads to the dam and quarries. If you just have a straight line just in front of them it is likely to interfere, so the connecting roads may need to go behind/beside the other buildings in a similar fashion to the picture I posted for the stone terraces. A level 3 beer garden (which I can test with) has the same range and it reaches with a small amount of extra space available. It's more limiting than the stone terraces, but certainly doable. Perhaps an ill-conceived design though.

I have a level 3 All Gouda, and it reaches the snow field. If it is right up against the mountain edge, then the GL can be one square away from the edge, ie I have a road going along the top of the quarries to the dam, and it's fine like that. But you do need it to be L3 Gouda, because nothing else will reach.

  12. Ironkat, is your stone manor placed in the snow or on the mountain(rocky area)? If it is in the snow, the veg stand will not reach it. Move the stone manor to the mountain area and it can reach.

I think we have exhausted this topic but I have asked the team to look at some changes that will not be in the loop until after Christmas :D.
