I have always interpreted this to mean any site not covered by the Rising City or Big Point team.

so why isn't all picture been deleted?

  4. Because a picture doesn't usually show a link. But, for an example, if I play another game or if I am a member of a (non-BigPoint) forum and I would have posted a link of that game/forum, that link wouldn't be allowed, therefore would be deleted.

  5. thanks for your answers, It is against the rules to post a picture or a link if you click on it and it takes you to a external web site that does not belong to big point there maybe penalties for doing so eg infractions for minor infringements or banning for more serious ones
is there anything else that we can help you with on this topic.
    Happy gaming

It's not like you can't access the URL of an image anyway, and depending, the image acts as a link to a hosting site. I see this often in the other languages' forums, and I guess that isn't cool. If you really want to, you can hide a lot of information in an image.

It's a rather totalitarian practice, really. I get why they do it, but it ranges from annoying to questionable. If you really apply the TOS literally, I think some things I've seen shouldn't've passed. The TOS also doesn't make it expressly clear that links, pictures, video, etc., are expressly forbidden, just that you can't link to/depict sensitive/illegal subject matter and that they 'distance themselves from and are not responsible for the content of links' (12.8). The wording can make it seem like everything is forbidden (9.4.2) or only what is problematic (the rest of the section in general), going so far as to mention that users are responsible for what is uploaded.

To me, it seems like we should be allowed more than we are in practice.

And this makes the lack of PM system even more annoying, even if you only want to contact a mod over such matter.

It's just a bit confusing since other BP-forums allows it.

    Please close the thread.
