I am stuck in a rut, for some reason, I can not build anything, anymore, everything went on Cool down, may take some days before I am able to build again...,. Story of my life, Little credits and no cash lol. Everything I push says pay now lol. Kinda like I am a window shopper lol wishing I had it.

The game is at the fist stage of level 12, can't make anything, due to lack of supplies, game money, there is about almost 20k in credits and 3 bucks in game cash, I need to finish a residence to get 150 people in to the community.... I have 144 now, so If I get a house that holds 8, that will get me a little cash to use on the game.

But since there is no supplies and no game bucks the game is on some kinda of cool down.... all factories will not let me make nothing, so I can't buy more land and things I need to complete projects.

    damn.

    Help !!!

Sounds like you do not have enough of the right type of residence in your community. Workers give you production points, which allows you to manufacture materials, Capitallists give you city credits, and students yield education points. For being at level 12 your population sounds low. My suggestion would be to continue collecting rent and concentrate on increasing your population which will improve your situation overall.

Sounds like you have run out of Productivity points (pp) as stated above you need them to put rafters lumber in queues. At early stages concentrate on only having workers and you should be able to sustain PP .

Not sure how you made it to L12, but if you've got that far, you should have a farm and a lumber mill at the very least. Hopefully you've also got a veg stand. Now prefabs need to be L3 before they provide any "needs revenue". The modern single family home, I think, provides needs revenue from L1. Either way, once you have a property that provides needs revenue, you need to supply the "needs" to get that revenue. In the above two cases, that's a veg stand. Now the veg stand has to be within 2 squares of the property it is serving - any further and it won't be able to supply anything. So switch to foundation view and check your veg stand is close enough to your properties and that they require a veg stand. Then fill the veg stand with tomatoes, and you should start earning PP again.

    Good luck!

    Thank you

I have only been playing 2 days or so lol

I have at 28 workers, 10 students, and 3 capitalist that't all my entire community residence 2 restaurants 5 saw mills and 7 farms
one collage up and running, police and fire station one and 1 1/2 college dorms those are the ones that hold up to 12 students each, One Hospital ground level not made yet since I don't have supplies to finish it. 2 Vantage Duplex unfinished, 1 vegetable shop, 3 power plants, one event Plaza and that's about it..

The mills and farms are on some type of cool down stage they don't work anymore

So you are right, All I can do is collect rents now from the community.

Correct my friend I don't have any type of Productivity points, I don't see a way to obtain them without paying for game.... I can do maybe missions, quest, to get them some how, but at this point I don't see that option. As for all the nice things seem to be out of reach for a free player. I think I have reached the Level I am going to be for awhile. till I get more materials, and collect credits from community.

  8. i am level 10 hitting 11 in 1h. i still didint build the vintage duplexes they want in the quest and i want do it for now even if i reach level 11.
i thing you need more capitalists because they give you money (CC). are you using your diners and veg stand?. you can use veg stand on prefab houses when they reach level 3 ,suburban house when they reach level 2 ,modern single family house when they are level 1 and so are the designer homes, urban cottage level 1 and for Hollywood diner: energy efficient row houses when they are level 1.

    hope this helps:D

I was told to get more workers, since the Mills and Farms are on cool down stage.... I have like maybe like 30 workers now or so, the Mills and Farms are still at a cool down and un-operational for the time being... Mills and Farms bring in big revenue if they are working. I am not sure what I need to get to make them work again I have about 30 workers that are not working lol. I believe I was told that I need Productivity points which I do not have these Productivity points seem to be out of reach at this point which puts the game on a cool down stage if you do not have these Productivity points .

I completed 1 vantage duplex home, from watching videos in the cinema, that gives game bucks so to say.

I think if I just collect rent from the community, and buy building materials I can complete more structures slowly.
As far as for the booster packs and stuff they seem to be out of reach if you don't drop cash in to the game.... The only way to get those if you complete quest and even some quest are out of reach for me at this time in the game.

I'm guessing you didn't pay attention to the tutorials in-game when they came up, or what anyone has been telling you, for that matter. You get production points by supplying houses containing workers with products via commercial buildings. You're running out because you are planning badly, going too fast, and apparently don't understand how the game works, not because you need to pay. There is no cool down on manufacturing. If you've built all the mills and farms already, with your residencies it's no wonder you can't keep up.

Click on any house: there is an area that says Needs, with a small ? in a circle. Click that. Read.

Also, if you have only 3 capitalists, your mood is probably too low, because odd numbers of residents don't happen otherwise. You have to balance things in this game, and it can be slow. Paying only makes things go faster, and maybe gets you some fancy buildings, but it's still generally slow.

:) okay, I will try that I did not see the little question mark on the houses and buildings, now I have placed the the commercial building right next to the homes thank you for pointing that out:)

Another question for you what is your mood level and power level. Have you been keeping them above 75 %. if the power level falls below 75 % production is cut by a quarter; If below 50 % in half; If below 25 % by thr33 fourths. City mood works the same way. This can really strangle your city to death.

You may want to go to the forum sections on productivity and buildings. Has a large number of answers for you there.

  13. your city hall can give you CC or PP to help you

yes workers too but to have more money you need capitalists too.:D

I am at 79% for Mood lvl. Power lvl is at 79% too..

    And question:

Q: What if I run out of room on regular land for buildings, can I use farm land to put buildings on or is this not recommended ?

Absolutely np, if you need your farmland later you can just move your buildings or put them in storage. You will get more farmland then you need when you expand.
Storage = Tools - Move - new window in top of your screen (first 10 house spaces are free)

What we are all trying to say is to be successful in the game you need to have a balance between all of the competing needs of your game. If you skew your city to far in any one direction the city becomes extremly short of the needs for those items needed. For example: You can slant the population in the begining towards having more workers than students and capitalists. But, do not go to far are you will not have enough CC's to pay for any improvementts. Not enough workers then you do not have enough Production points to manufacture the products you need to make your city run efficiently. Balance is the key.
