Has anyone L25+ ever managed to finish this event?

I think i managed once in the days of x-presso, but haven't tried since. So thought I'd try again this week.
The quantity / production time of the required goods is ludicrous. It wouldn't be so bad if you could produce some of the items needed for later stages right from the start, soya, tofu dogs, beer etc

I haven't bothered recently, and I suspect the last time I had completed it was with xpresso. But I did try this week, and I did finish. It wasn't nearly so hard as last time, as I now have 6 bakeries, so tofu dogs only took 4 runs, whereas I'm sure it used to be 7.

As for the beer, grow as much as you can in stage 2, and then BEFORE you deliver it, start the next batch. Then deliver it, you're into stage 3. You can collect the beer and deliver the second batch when you get to stage 4. So beer should never hold you back in this event. But you have to make sure that you have enough wheat/hops to do all the beer before you start, otherwise you can't grow soya.

But for the rewards you get, it really isn't worth it. I was hoping the XP would tip me into L62 (with the restarting of the top100), but it wasn't quite enough. :)

I have finished the event every time except once when I had connection problems. It has always been a challenge, but I am a bit of a control freak. I can not let the computer win. I have a plan and stick with it to complete the event. I am not sure that this is the right approach for everyone though.

I've done it every time. I am among the lucky with six bakeries though (although I've only just decided to build the sixth after this last event).

One key thing is to start the second day it's available so you can maximize available time. Though the manufacturing does take time, it's really the drops that tie you up. With enough buildings, you can get more than enough drops in one go (helps to not collect rent on some buildings in that case). Easy to finish the first three stages in the first day and have tofu dogs and more soy going over the first night that way. Even with only three bakeries you can do it with relative ease if you can get all the drops at once. Beer isn't even much of a problem for stage 4 since it times perfectly with soy and will probably be done before the tofu dogs, but the above advice is still good. It can be tight, but it's very doable.

That said, the rewards are still pretty poor for the effort otherwise and don't scale with the effort for the upper tier where it matters. If I weren't at a computer often anyway, I don't know if I'd still bother.

thanks, the reward for the effort involved is poor compared to other events

Edit: as per usual, didn't even come close, completed level 3 and even spent some MM to get the tofu dogs under production quicker. Won't bother with this one again

I started this (wasting 150 bricks in the process  ) and then realised I was in Queensland (Australia) so my Bikers House would not have lasted long ;) :D :p

:D LOL, she may!!! If I have another go at the Quest, I will put it somewhere out of the way of the Police Station (perhaps next to a brewery lol) with some tall trees all around it to disguise it!!...... :p

No just do like the real bikers do. Put it just over the boarder in NSW. also know as the suburbs in my city. Also put up a notice in the bikers house stating they cant wear their colours ever and no patches on bikes or helmets. Have all the bikers carry a resignation letter with them in case they are stopped by the police.

Sorry for this Yank, butting in but you all are crushing our fantasies about the Aussies being a wild and wooly, free wheeling and out of bound society. Dreams broken across the wide Pacific. :(o_O
