  1. I just bought a Quarry, and to my dismay, I discover it only produces 4 slabs per 1000 production point!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Why would I want to have one of these (let alone Two!) when it comes with the 150 negative mood hit AND the 150 power hit as well! I wish I had not wasted my cash on this plot. I tried to back-track by trying to demolish the Quarry, but it will not let me do so! WHY????? now I'm stuck with it. This is just not right. This should be looked at and changed. And another problem issue I have run into is: Once placed, I can't remove an epic improvement AND I can't move it to another house. When I first started playing this game, I had no idea that once I placed an epic improvement on a property, it was stuck there for good. I can understand not-being-able to move all the other "timed improvements", but not the epic ones. Any of these decisions that a player makes, they should also be able to undo. The final suggestion I have is regarding the events. Would it be possible for us to be able to choose a top final prize once we have completed an event?

  2. Firstly the quarries, you will really need later in the game, as i am level 61 now i have had to buy a heap of slabs several times so even though they dont produce a lot every little bit helps, with the epic improvements they need to be placed carefully and over a period of time i have found that they should be used sparingly as all the others do have a use by date. on your last point i would like to have a choice of a final prize in the events but wont be holding my breath waiting for this option

As skippyroo1980 you will need them later. Also the Quaries are a given in the game we do not have the option of accepting them or not they come with the plots they are connected to. Just like the Power Dam. A minus 150 mood points should not be that hard to compensate for that would be three Rock Monuments, or Zeus Statues, or two Niki statues (would almost cover it). There are Residences that cost you more mood points and give you less.

The quarry is documented in the FAQ, so shouldn't necessarily come as a surprise. I wish it could be upgraded too, as I am rapidly running out of granite slabs now. As billyjim points out, 150 mood isn't that bad, as 2 niki statues or zeus statues would cover it (given that you get 4/3 of the mood + to use against your mood -). Similarly, two small reactors would get you the power back in a jiffy. Anything that made the events more varied would be advantageous!

Actually like having the quarries; true they are slow to produce (just as in real life) but they accumulate like anything else. I run mine all the time, and find when I need slabs for building they are in my warehouse. True, I have the pp to do this; but then, by the time you are at a level to need slabs for construction, 1,000 pp should be an easy expenditure. I do agree they should be upgradeable just like any other manufacturing facility...or should produce a higher number of slabs (4x2x2=32 just like it had been fully upgraded).
