Mods have been great. Shame development team let us all down.

Have 24 days of rent collector left. After this I refuse to buy again unless big changes happen.
I refuse to click on each building to collect rent.

We had over 2 weeks of log in issues and for losing 2 weeks of rent collector and our RI's expiring. We got a 6 hour rent collector.

This is like a gym charging you a month fees and then closing for 2 weeks. not only missing the ability to train but also setting you back by a month of fitness.

Fyi by time the 24 days is up I should be level 46 or 47 currently 45 with almost 10k residents. Not sure if I am allowed to hand my account to someone else. If I am allowed let me know if you want it. As I say needs to be some sort of big change to keep me here.

In the 6 months or so I have been playing have probably spent around $500 and have watch all the ads I could through the ciineplex. But with it now reduced to 5mm I have demoed it.

Not a happy player. Thanks to all the interesting people on the forum has been a pleasure to read your threads and well done with throwing your help behind answering questions before the mods have had a chance. The few mods available do a great job but your help is great too.

Will keep playing for the 24 days I have left then either close account or pass it on. (if I am allowed) haven't read the term and conditions so I apologise but if someone knows them and can let me know if it is allowed or not would appreciate the answer.

not an angry player just not happy with management of the game.
Classic example Of cineplex many complaining it doesn't work not our fault handled by outside sources. If one of my contractors doesn't do the right thing they are warned then dismissed. I don't say to the client wasn't me it was a contractor.

The management of this game has a lot to answer for.

Fred I will be sadden by your leaving. I do not beleive you can pass your account to some one else, but how would they know if they used your account number and password. Then would you want them to? I enjoyed interacting with you on the forum. So let us enjoy these last days and pray that something miraculous and spectacular is all ready in the works. We both know RC development team does not move that quickly.

I definitely agree with you Fred about the low compensation that we received. You do the math and it definitely was nowhere close to what we lost. 14 days x 150MM(possibly) lost revenues, rent, ability to upgrade buildings and definitely level advancement. I'm also thinking that I possibly be up to level 46 at this time. I too have spent money on this game.

    The Cineplex reduction is ridiculous.

I too am disappointed with the management team.

Thank you. Have enjoyed yourself and others that post on the forum.
Yes on all accounts they don't move quick.
If I tried to run my companies like they do I would go broke. And I assume this is why they are reducing cineplex to lower costs.

But yes we have a couple of weeks left to enjoy

Fred!! Hold the phone!! Come on, is it that bad? The game is great and I am only on Level 26. I can see issues coming up, but that's only from reading them on here!!!!! :p Please hang on to your account for a while as you may well regret dumping it. As you say you have invested a considerable amount of time and $ to have reached the level you have in just six months of playing. Impressive. Can I suggest you use some of your 24 days to write to Bigpoint GmbH direct with your concerns? Their Global Public Relations Team are here: press@bigpoint.net :) Nothing to lose ... Anyway, I know how exasperating things can feel at times, so all these flippant comments are meant with the greatest respect.... Life is what you make of it ? :)

I have been online since 1996. I have played many online games and own my own website. I am one of the people from the past that actually taught her children how to use a computer, not the other way around. Over the years I have seen the internet change drastically. What used to be a great place where no one even heard of a virus and most things were freeware and freely given has become big business. Rising Cities is probably not making very much money for the owners and so they don't invest a lot of money and time into it. I am a paying customer, but I learned my lesson in another of Bigpoint's games. I spent waaaay too much money there with no customer service, no respect for the customer's wishes, etc. Now, I buy mm's when I want to play Loot A Matic (I really like playing that, I don't know why.... I'm just a dork I guess lol). Just reading and watching this board proves that this game is on the way out; you can tell because there is rarely any regard toward the helping of the customers. No bug fixing, the game is offline for three weeks to a big majority of the player base, and no regular communication from the devs, etc. etc. Also, there are not many players on the board itself compared to a lot of other games' boards I am on or have been on. My point is that gaming companies are always making new games to attract players and their money and the older a game is, the less they pay attention to it. They are always and forever onto the "new thing" they are developing that they hope will be a big moneymaker. A prime example is a hunting game I play. It is several years old and the company just came out with a dinosaur hunting game. All the attention, bug fixing, etc. is going toward the new game, and the old game is virtually ignored. But, since it is the only decent hunting game in town, we are all stuck with it. I guess we are stuck with it here too.

Andrew I will hang in 23 more days. Thanks for the link

honeywest I understand and agree totally. But I am a customer that if I don't get good service or value I walk and don't look back.

As far as time investment this is my down time and I do something I enjoy. So the time I have spent here I don't look at as a cost. The money is peanuts would spent that in a night or 2 going out for dinner Spent money to help me enjoy it a little more. No different to going to the movies. Classic example went out with a mate for a catch up last Saturday. The night cost me about $350. So I don't have any regret or remorse from having to walk away. There are so many companies available I will just put a little extra effort into researching next time .

As honey says these games a flavour of the month for the company. I have played many over the years and walk away when the service gets bad.

fred: I wish you luck with whatever you chose to do, and you've been fun to have on the forum for the last few months. One thing I would say, about passing accounts on: be VERY sure that no payment data is stored with your account!

Two new buildings for the Easter Event, MM from Xmass trees in large amounts every few days, actual anouncement regarding the Easter Event goodies despite the delay...maybe the dev team is trying, Fred?

Hmmm... Easter/Spring event. Are they combining 2 events to start making things more interesting? Would be a nice change.

Both are good points and could be valid. Any change would be a nice improvement.

Something we usually dismiss is that the mysterious and elusive Sephiroth said his first priority was to get the game more stable and eliminate the problems in the game. Maybe we are coming out of that period? The game is much less quirky than it use to be (ask any one who was a here year or more ago) still not perfect but a lot better. We can only hope. :)
