Hi, I am new and have found the game a bit complex to understand but by checking the information in the forums I have been able to have an idea on how to make thinks work better.

What I haven't found is information about "building permits". I understand you may need to have some stock of them if you want to place new buildings, but how do I check my stock and if I run out of them where can I get them?

Thanks in advance for your support to this rookie! ;)

Here are a couple of more hints about building permits that are not covered in the refered thread. There are two types of building permits:

The standard building permits (have a blue back ground). You generally received as you progress through the levels of the game and are awarded them as you "level up". Generally you are giving a limited number of these five or six but the number varies per permit. You have to pay for the permit with City Cash and supply materials to complete the building. You also are usually offered the chance to buy more permits with Metro Money, the price for each additional permit goes up with the purchase of an additional permit. Also you can earn these permits in events, Lot-O-Matic and redeeming Medals from the emergency system.

The premium or special permits (gold back ground) Are only available as purchased with MM, as rewards or gifts from Events, Lot-O-Matic, Medals and the Mystery Buildings. Most of these are instant build. Which means once you purchase the permits and place the structure it is completed and ready to go.

You can find out a lot more information in the Forum Help Section Game FAQ's

Hope this helps and good gaming.

Lovely billy... thanks a lot for the hints! Looks it is worth it to participate in events where you can get the gold ones. So kind for the guidance, take care! hugz :)

Sounds great indeed Krassandra, can't wait to see how one of them works on big buildings that take so much materials and time :D! hugz! ;)

Just to clear up any possible confusion, only the initial placement of gold permits is free. You still have to pay normal CC/material costs to upgrade, though they are usually relatively low.

If you look in your designer depot on the toolbar (it's a book) and look at your residential building permits, you will see both the regular (blue) and special (gold) permits. The picture of the building on the permit is what that permit gets you when you build/place that building. Permits do not 'work' on any building other than the building they are for. The reason the gold permits put out better revenues is exactly that they are special buildings you either purchase with MM or win as prizes, etc. The blue permits are standard game buildings and revenues increase as you progress in Levels and the houses become more expensive to build but yield better revenues.

oh, I see... so far I have found that getting the materials for a building is a pain... sad I can't use them with any building, but I guess I will get a better grip of the benefits once I use one. Thanks a lot for the clarification :) hugz.

Got it... wish some of the materials for building or upgrade were not that expensive and take that long time to be produced. Guess production time improves when the manufacturing facilities are upgraded. Thanks a lot Arsuru :) hugz

  12. Good evening,

I think there should be more and different more new types of building permits. This is still a great game. I like rising city's. :) :) :)

    Yours Sincerely,
