Spring Event today?

Will Spring Event be announced today?

 

It's listed on the Calendar for today, but it's not even showing as a "Coming Soon" at the events display. Am really looking forward to doing this one, so hope it shows up soon. Could just be a time zone difference...but then why is it not shown as "Coming Soon"?

It's live, though not without troubles. First they put up last year's version, then this years was available for a few seconds before being up normally. It's pretty much the same, including bakery (would have rather had a mill!), though only one building is actually new, as the final prize looks like what was offered in a special package one year as 'multi-generational home'. Rent seems to be higher though so might not be exactly the same. Looks good anyway.

 

It's showing on mine now too.

 

One new and one replicated home, but no Easter lodge... what a pity.

 

The houses look good at least. Really wish they were regular permits and we'd just gotten another Easter lodge though, because I definitely want several of each.

 

Agreed, I like the new houses. The family house looks great, could do with a small suburb of those. I have 4 Easter lodges, so not sure I really need another. But what I don't need another of is a Bakery - this would be my 7th if I built it! No space for that!

Oh, I see, it's not an event exclusive. Didn't realize is wasn't a premium at first. Just too bad we don't get more freebies as it is blue. Still, one of the best-looking buildings to date.

 

I wonder why it states no additional cost to place? Interesting...but it is new and looks nice, with decent starting rent. Another bakery is usable, and I have two Easter Lodges; would have been happy with one of them, but am just as happy to get something completely new. Was a tiny bit disappointed at the low level decorations throughout the stage rewards, but for some that will likely be good so am not complaining. All in all it's looking like a nice enough event. Thanks to the mods and devs for hearing us all and changing some of the rewards; nice to have something new

 

Running chickens at the farm are cute.
But the drops are scarce and their rates are discouraging, maximum five per building.

 

Well, the Modern Private Home seems to be a rotated and reskinned Designer Duplex in every way. I'll forgive you BP, since it looks (really) good, but only if you give us the normal 7 freebies for such a low-level home and/or start giving them out instead of the Designers in events. I'll even open my boosters for these.

 

I was kind of hoping for an Easter lodge but the new houses do look great. skb13 I wish I had 6 bakeries as you do. I'll take this one and it will be #5. I need it but another farm would have been nice to go along with it. Not complaining.

 

I want me bunnies an' eggsies...this is my first Easter event so they will look nice in my city. Thinking of sticking them up in the mountains. Mountains is good fer bunnies an' such Won my Easter lodges in that Birthday champagne bottle thingy they did a couple years ago, so have those already.

 

I was thinking of the same thing myself. I'll have to make some room for them first. Wonder where I'll be able to put them. This is also my first Easter event. Missed the last one by a couple of weeks.

 

An old bird like you should be used to handling eggs by now and do not try to tell me you do not enjoy a nice rabbit for dinner.

 

I did think that the 'private home' was an event special but glad to see it is a purchasable building (with MMs) as it looks good & got a few places that it would fit depending on its needs.

It does make me laugh when we started off with 3 bakeries & now getting a 7th (for us oldies)
