Summer ideas for fun

Good evening,

There should be a summer event which takes place in June an July which is a summer fair a raffle draw which everyone can take part in, I like the idea of this and would like the moderator , the administrator , the devs and everyone's feedback on it. I would like you all to post on this thread ideas if it may help. This is an idea so please consider it devs and mods.

I think we don't need any additional events, there are more than enough of them.

 

Yes, I would like to see a Summer Event. I would note that there was a Winter Festival event, and that Halloween serves as a Fall event, and Easter serves as a Spring event....so why not a Summer event? Especially since (at higher Mayor Levels) the existing events get to be "old hat" and not really worth the time and efforts to repeat after doing them a dozen times over, special events like these are then the "meat and potatoes" of events. You have my vote

 

I guess the Winter Event corresponds with Christmas, but Summer in the Northern Hemisphere is Winter here. Not trying to be smart, just that Winter/Summer events depend on where you are in the world. Anyway, any new event gets my vote as it provides more interest generally (and as an ex-pat pome I can live with a Summer Event in June / July )

Summer is an Astronomical term based on the Summer Solstice so summer is the summer in both hemispheres. The meteorological season (laypersons also called summer) is based on temperature. So June and July are always in the summer. In the Northern Hemisphere this is the warm season, in the Southern Hemisphere this is the cool season. There enough lecturing for the day. But we all did know what you meant sorry we are a Northern Hemisphere based societies, Darn you 18th century European explorers.

Well, bonkers. There goes me idea to sell tropical drinks in Australia during our Winter in the USA and vice versa. What am I supposed to do with all this shaved ice???

This would be great. But on Pirate Storm they have something just like that, and you know what People that live in the USA can't partake in it. Why because it's like gambling. Hello news flash as far as I know each and every state in the USA has gambling from lottery tickets, to the river boats or even casinos. The only gambling that the USA won't have is the kind people can control like a boxing match or football game. Because They think the Mob would take over gambling again. But unless every person can play this I will be counted as a No. Not unless it's fair to everyone.​

Ummmmm..."event" means weekly event with production quests and drop items and boulder pickups, and rewards for the stages. Am not certain a "raffle" would even work in that context. Besides, we already have a "raffle" equivalent with the Loot-O-Matic and Booster Packs.
