Actually anyone is welcome to reply in the fechnical and general guestion in the forum. I and my fellow Moderators did so many times before we became Moderators. As Moderators we have different variation of the forum. Once a question has been answered by another or one of us. We close the thread so it does not keep appearing in our list to be resolved.

Promaster202 If there is a particular topic you wish to start a discussion about you could start a thread in the speakers corner and open it up for public discussion. The Question sections are for specific questions and answers, not discussions.

As s.c. says above, often others will offer advice before a Mod gets to it. It may be that a lot of queries are known by 'the wise' to be an account related ie: reset required or a task that hasn't been completed and can only be fixed by a mod with access to accounts. In that case it's left for a Moderator/administrator. I find the Forum very open and friendly in that regard :)

  5. I agree with S.C, Billy and Andrew, the general questions area are mostly rehashed and the answers are mostly available in previous threads, there fore most forum members who are over level 20 or so will be familiar with most of them. On the TQ thread i believe it is best left to the mods unless your a very experienced player, as i have seen previously where members have offered advice on a problem without knowing the underlying facts and when those suggestions do not solve the problem it only add to that persons frustrations and then a mod is still needed to fix it.

  6. It is Rare that we mods post in this part of the forum, however this is an instance where it is warranted.
Firstly this question should be in general questions. Secondly Thanks everyone for your excellent answers, all are spot on.

promaster I am not sure of how much experience you are saying that a player needs though, how ever I see that you have been a member for around 5 months and are currently at only level 11.
I will leave this thread open for a short time before closing it

You confuse me, promaster: how many times did I, or billyjim, or other players answer your questions and give you advice? Not to forget the fact the moderators are here to help us, especially when we ourselves cannot come up with answers. I have never had a moderator "not let" me help answer questions in the general or technical questions. I specifically point to the coding information I passed along during the long lived log-in issue last Winter. Not only was I allowed to talk about it in detail (answering and advising), the mods passed my information on to the devs and techs so it could be used to resolve the issues (among other things many others did). Unless it's an issue that requires moderator actions by nature (resetting data for example) I have found just about every topic in the forum open for everyone to discuss.
