I know I have been playing a short time but how do you get the engineer and detective? I got everything else except the ??? guys. thanks for any help

  2. it all has to do with luck sometimes it will take only a couple of trainees to level up and other times it will take many more, you will eventually get them both though:)

thanks for letting me know real fast again. I do another question for you I don't know if you can answer this but in mm to buy the 49.99 really work for unlimited mm. like I said I am new at this. if you can't answer this its okay. thanks again for answering so fast.:) my id # 9148457 sorry I almost forgot Candy

  4. I believe the cost of buying MM is slightly different in every country, I am sure that you will not get an unlimited number of MM though.
There are always several offers for player to buy MM and rarely these offers may attract a discount to entice players to purchase these offers
Is there anything else that we can help you with on this topic :)

Thank you I only ask because in the US when link to buy mm it shows 0 amount and shows 49.99, and says watch your city grow with 0 mm. that's why I ask but the 49.99 has the pound symbol after it.. thanks for answering so fast again. :)

  6. I am sure that the 0 maybe a display problem and not being in the US but down under it is impossible for me to check however I will ask one of our mods in that area

Hi Candyboopq, I also am in the US. I have pulled up the treasury and at this time it appears to be an issue with the purchase of MM's in the US. We are contacting the team it may be a short while before thsy get this fixed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Regarding the original question: I have found that if you use rookies for ONLY emergencies requiring the specialist you desire (example, Engineer or Detective) that, more often than not, eventually you will get offered to train the rookie as that specialist. This is, of course, not exact (the system is mostly random) but I have found it to help. Also, training as extensively as possible helps. Use EP to buy extra skill points, and after these are used up you can buy a few more with Vitamin-X; the more training a rookie has, the easier it is to get offered the specialist training. Hope this info is helpful....have fun ;)

The specialists marked as ??? in the FAQs haven't been implemented yet as far as anyone can tell. The others, you'll get eventually.

I've always found it to be the exact opposite: the more training, the longer it takes for specialization to occur, while minimally trained specialists tend to get offers in the first few levels.

I have also seen that, more than once. I think other factors in the 'random' system affect that as well. It's a hit or miss art not a science :) What has been your experience, Arsuru, with using the rookies on the missions requiring the specialist you want them to train as? Have you found that to help?

I can see a thread movement coming on. Tassie and Candy ? Suggest moving this to the speakers corner as it's getting interesting ;)

No, as I've detailed elsewhere, I think it's a combination of low possible outcomes (perhaps not even though) and player-desire that give a false perception of it actually having an influence. Though refusing initial specialization will often get you another offer eventually, I don't think it's more likely to be one you need.
