Farm land

I've been gone for quite a while and have recently - the last couple of months - returned to RisingCities. When I left, about four years ago, we just had the one area, the city, but there was talk of other areas in the making. I was very pleasantly surprised to see the three new areas that had developed while I was gone, the Mountains, the Ocean, and the Rural areas. However, I was just curious as to why the Rural area, at least what I've managed to uncover so far, does not have land that you can move your farms to? I think of a farm being in the country, not the city, so it would be terribly nice if we could move them over there. Is there a way? Have I just not uncovered enough plots of land yet? (I hope this is the case!)

Btw, there was no "Create a New Thread" button yesterday when I asked why couldn't I start a new thread. Curious...

 

There is a small area where you can build a farm on the ocean (or island-) playfield, but you can't move your farms there. You have to tear them down and rebuild them on the other playfield. Better option is to save these spaces for your ranches
There isn't any possibility to build farms on the rural playfield (or suburbs as it is also known)

Oh, sorry, BigWillem1, I didn't mean to ignore you. Thank you very much for the reply. It's not what I want, but I guess I'll have to make do with farms in the city. It's strange why they didn't make it so you could put your farms in the country though, if you ask me.

Oh, wow, I just noticed you are "Commander of the Forum" - how in the world did you get that title?! It's a very nice title!

On another forum, I am a "Master" and I'm the only one on it that is one! It's kind of special, but I'm sure others will become Masters before long.

Oh, thanks, I figured as much, although BigWilem1's title did seem to be special, so I thought perhaps he (she?) was on the team or something. So, is there a run down of all the titles you get from newbie (which must be what I have "Forum-Apprentice") to whatever is the last one?

And, while I have you here (hopefully, I will have you here...) I've been looking at past events and noticed there was a Valentine's one and a Winter one - did we not have those this year? I SO would love to participate in a holiday theme event! That would be so neat! I also saw a Halloween one and a Easter/Spring one and a Birthday one, maybe something else, can't remember. Could you tell me if we are ever going to have those again? And also, are we ever going to have any new events? (I'm not asking for much, am I?)

This year we did not have either a Valentine nor the winter Festival. We have asked for information on the status of Spring/Easter Event. We are waiting to hear from the great and powerful ones to let us know. As soon as we hear something we will let you know. Traditionally these announcements are made at or very near the implication date. These are traditionally very complicated events to produce with nine or so levels and require a great deal of planning and resources.

Thanks so much for the link! I don't quite understand why there are so many titles for people with 30 posts...? And I think the title "Living Forum Legend" is probably the best title and should be for the person with the most posts! How is it that someone who hasn't even made any posts gets such a cool title?

OK, I'm a little confused. Who is "we"? On the other thread I posted on, the Mayors Vs Mods thread, you said you were the only one, so who is "we"? But I guess that's not the real issue here, sorry. Well, I hope you get a favorable answer for the Spring one! I will have to start saving resources!!!

The list is a little vage. I think you get a new title/trophy for every 30 posts more.(so at 40,70,100 posts) and later for 100,200 800 posts more
