This sounds like your system and the servers were out of sync (regarding the time at least). This actually happens quite ofren but there is usually a very little consequences 99.9 % of the time. It shows itself as a long time lag in the game.

 

I just have to tell you that at the same time I could play in another game, even the same BP company.
The problem of not being able to play in the game or to change space or to discontinue our connection suddenly happens frequently and unfortunately only at R.C.
It is also obvious that this game has been abandoned by the company.
