It would be really nice with 3 returning event per week and not only two which is planed to be solved during the weekend when you have reached a certain level.

The fun part about RC - is the returning event - it's a challenge to find out how to choose the right combination of capitalist/worker/student-houses and streets, and make sure that your production-facilities are at a certain level, so you can finish the different part of the event as fast and PP-cheap as possible.

The only problem is we are limited to only three events at one time. So if we have a special event, Halloween, Winter Festival, Easter, etc., then we would have to loose one. That means someone would have to make a decision at RC. That could give a person a headache. :p

meh, i find that events distrupt normal production to much, since the events are so well.. lame! i vote for 1 event per week.

yes but its hard to resist temptation and probably habit. when i see event plaza thingy, i instinctively click on it.
thinking it out you are probably right, more events would be more fun, but some players would argue that is overwhelming, especially lower ones. 2/week might just be the right amound and as billy said, with specials coming every now and then, we all remember what a mess was when we had 3+ events in plaza.

But I really do like 'mess' - then you have to make a plane/strategy - and you cann't rely on instinct. And of course it's nice to be able to complete an event - but for me the fun part is not the end goal but 'the way' to the end goal.

Since most events are returning there is nothing to lose.

About new players - it would be nice if the 'introduction event' was a little bit longer - so there was a possibility to get all exclusive. It's not easy to get the [IMG] - so RC could use this event to 'show/teach'-players how to make planes/plane ahead like upgrading production-buildings, have enough PP and restock supplies.

its not that kind of 'mess'
i take it you weren't here during wintergames or was it valentines, when alot of players could not start special event because they were missing it from plaza, due to the fact that there were more then 3 events active or available. was actualy a technical issue.
you dont want that kind of 'mess' to repeat

It t was a disaster and a half RC had to stop an event in mid play, cancel a planned event on the schedule, even re schedule the Winter Festival for a second time so players could try to attempt the event again. Also associated instability in the game universe for months, log in issues, task problems, etc. lasting for months. This led to many players being very angry and upset. It was not pretty. :(

You always have all the fun  :p - didn't you get some kind of compensation ex. a bonuscode?

It wouldn't be a problem if the event window could scroll properly or we could just choose regular events outright but I don't think I'd want more at once with the current system. Though it would probably force me to not do some for a change.

Yes we got a bonus code for the situation but it was not worth the frustration. It was a nice gift, I would have much rather of had none of the problems involved. To have been with in an hour or two of completing a seven day event to have all of that work erased and receive a bonus code and the opportunity to do the event over again. Eh, so so.

Here's a possible solution: Have "event slots" instead of scheduled events, then allow a certain number to be played per week...with a reserved "Special Event" slot...and allow players to choose which events they want to do each week. Only the Special Events would be a do it or don't do it scenario. Anybody familiar with Pogo games? Pogo already does this, with daily and weekly game challenges and premium challenges and then also some special ones; the system allows you to choose challenges from an archive and only the special ones are limited time wise. This way, you could choose the previously run events as weekly ones and still get the Specials.

you would just do the 1 event u like over and over and over and over again,. i dont think devs intend to let u do just that ;)

Actually, I do every event I can get my feathers on ;) Even if I know I cannot complete the whole event...as every stage has it's rewards. I was only suggesting that, should doing three weekly events jeopardize special events (like with the Winter Festival), then this archive system (like Pogo's) would (maybe) resolve that issue. This would also allow players who miss a particular event that has already been done over and over for most of us, to do that one when they are able to devote the time. The basic point is I would agree with Kimmi that three events are better than two events? Maybe what I am truly getting at is archiving the normal events that have been around so long (allowing players to choose to use their "weekly" slots to do those) and thus freeing up the "scheduled" events for the specials (Halloween, Christmas, etc.) and new events (like the Rock Festival). P.S. Must agree with you that the existing events need new blood  Think I'll start a new thread to discuss "new event" ideas....hmmmmmmmm:cool:

weekly events return monthly, plenty of time to prepare for a do-over. i dont see the point/need in cycling them even faster, especially since they are to boring or to hard to bother with. if you missed it, it will come next month again.
the only point i agree with is revamping of the weekly events, adding new rewards or dificutly stages to current wants along with adding new events in the pool.

how can i get bonus code?

bonus codes are awarded very, very rarely in most cases. The last general release bonus code I remember was in Early in February or March 2014. In response to a major failure in the RC event system for the Winter Event. It was a sorry that this happened to all of you gift. There are other individual bonus codes the most common one I can think of is the first time you purchase MM's with real cash you can gift a bonus code to a friend equal for 10% of your MM's purchase this is a one time only code. That is the only codes I have seen in the game. Anyone else have any further experience?

October of last year they did a OCTOBER code, and with the Winter Festival there was a code around Christmas also. Have seen one other back when I first got started in the game, which boosted my PP and CC at a critical stage. But have not seen any since, and do keep an eye out. Missed that one earlier this year I guess, but that was about the time I was headed out to the carnival for the season, so no computer access at that time.
