It would be cool if we can sell our building permit in the market. I have SO many of the same building from winning events and prize draw...etc. I have to stop building them, as my city is starting to look like a Chinese labor camp with rows and rows of the same buildings. So instead of sitting in my designer pot, I could do with selling them off...:)

  2. :D :D :D Chinese labour camp? Cool :)

I wonder who would buy them when everybody can get them from events like you. There would then be great supply and nearly no demand. So do you mean selling them to the system?

Chinese labour camp? Cool , I agree. I could use a "Chinatown" district.

I could see how some one with a certain luck could get an excess of some building permits do to the randomness of the loot-o-matic and mystery building systems. I myself have rarely won a building in these lotteries, usually decorations or PP's. I would love to buy a few Pagoda Houses, Art Gallery and an Art Studio. :) Since I have never won one of these. :(

I think I have 9 Japanese Pagoda Houses that I'd love to either sell or gift away.
But if I could do that, then less people would purchase Loot tokens, so I don't see this happening anytime soon, if ever.

Low-level houses may be of interest to newbies, but other than that, there's not going to be a huge amount of demand for the "regular" residentials.

I scored a double on the Japanese Pagoda one time and recently picked up a botanic garden. But mostly I get small oak trees and some lumber.

Although, to be honest, I have really broken the curve on winning at the wheel for those solar skyscrapers. I hit a triple on those things ... twice.

That is right just show off why don't you. :p

  7. you guys are lucky im like billyjim i never get anything good

  8. I'd take a Japanese Pagoda house... can never get it however many times I try the loot-o-matic... always end up with logs or the Worker Memorial or something else that I don't need.

I'm desperate for a Gallery and an Art Studio, both available in Mystery Buildings Season 1 which I never got... and now can't unless the Developers decide to give us an opportunity to acquire them by other means. I believe only Mystery Buildings Season 2 is available to me in the Flea Market event so sadly I have a few unfilled residents :(

Selling it back to the system for CC won't be a bad idea. For example, I have 22 designer duplex at the moment and it looks great at the beginning but now I have two long rows of them and they look awful...

Like other suggested, I would love to get a Japanese Pagoda house or a flower shop which three of my buildings need but I can't buy them because they are mystery buildings. I have two botanical gardens and I have no use for them at all.

Honestly, loot-o-matic very rarely give you anything half decent. So I don't think it will be a probably for people purchasing Loot tokens since not many people do anyway in the first place.

Hi billyjim. Thanks for letting us know. I didn't know double post is classify as spamming. Beside one was a post and one was a reply to someone's post, didn't think that would classify as double post, would it?

Anyway, thanks again for letting me know....:)

  12. Just a wild idea. Instead of selling it to the system, I'd rather see some kind of exchange pool with exclusive rewards, where obviously several houses would be exchanged for one exclusive based on their set value or something like that. :)

I think that's a great idea too but the exclusive building will probably have to be from the past seasons, which we can't get anymore. Otherwise, no one will use their metro money to buy those exclusive building permit....:)

Not necessarily some of the current "exclusive" buildings are only available by lottery and some of us just do not do well in the system. Bad luck or karma. We would love to have some of these buildings but can not get them. :(

It depends on what you classify as "half decent".
For me (at Level 55) it's only a case of a handful of things that is useful for my city and that is reflected in my Loot tokens rarely being purchased anymore.
But someone at level 25 or so will probably find a lot more things useful for their city.
If you purchase a handful of Loot tokens, generally you do get something good (residential or nuclear power), some decent stuff (CC, xp) plus a whole host of crap!
But it is a lottery. It stays true to that.

  17. @billyjim and @supertoro: I did not specify what exclusive rewards it shoud be because I rather had in mind a specific pool of rewards tailor made exclusively for this purpose. It might be something completely innovative, doesn't even have to be residentials. New part of the game which would gradually bring some solution possibly to all "overflow" items of all types (residentials, PP, EP etc.). Of course current exclusive buildings could be incorporated, but not necessarily. Since it is too early for it I'm not trying to bring any specific details what it should look like. I would not expect such a system to come earlier then a year or two later.

Thank you Tassie-devil. You are a scholar and gentleman.

Nortoncommander I like the idea of a pool of rewards. Giving us the ability to choose a reward from a group of similar valued items would be awesome! I might want a residence, where someone else might want a mystery building from season 1, third person might want a couple epic residential improvements. Great idea Sir.

  19. it is because we all have our wants

  20. It doesn't have to be similar value as this would make the system too limited and riggid. All items in the game could for example have an exchange value set specifically for that purpose and you would offer as many different items as necessary to match or excede the value of item desired. Also the mechanics of the actual exchange could have different parameters from just simple "press the button", through timed disclosure as with mystery buildings, to other specific conditions needed to be met to validate the transaction, like specific expensive cupon produced in one of the buildings or rewarded for a specific rare event etc. Complex and flexible new system for later stages of game development. But as I mentioned already, it's too early now to try to paint it in too much detail as I'm not part of development team. :)
