I can see not being able to move the hydro plants, but why not allow other power plants to move.. to go into storage and then move. It would allow a lot more flexibility.

You are preaching to the choir here. :) I agree. This shows up about every month or so. We are still waiting for a reasonable explanation of why we are not able to do this. :( All we can do is keep asking for this feature. So thanks for asking for it this time.

I agree, this would be a simple addition and make re-arranging a city easier.

We do have the option of removing the power plants and rebuilding them in another playing field if we so desire. A pain and wasteful of time and materials.

But, could be a viable option for a mayor who has reached an upper level of play or a large enough population. The Coal fired plants are relatively inexpensive (large coal plant is 50,000 cc's 700 lumber and 70 bricks). My problem is I do not want them in any of my current play fields.

I have been advocating an "industrial Park" play field. Where we would be allowed to move the power plants to and have benefits, maybe increased production or shorter production times for products in this area. That is another thread.

An "industrial park" would be nice, but even just being able to move them would work. Not into wasting resources just to relocate them to another field, though.

Agreed but the great and powerful developers want us to be stuck with the powerplants where we first build them. :(

  7. Mobile power plants. Get them on wheels and let's get going. :)
