Changing the names of the buildings

Is there a chance to add a possibility of changing the names of commercial buildings, or residential and manufacturing as well? It would add a personal touch to our cities.

 

What, exactly, do you mean by changing the names? You have me curious....

 

E.g. changing the name Pizza Palace to Tellus Pizzeria then everywhere where it say pizza palace it will say tellus pizzeria instead. Only in your game of course.
Changing the name on individual buildings will likely be to hard to program.
Is this right omuego?

 

Tellus got it, I was thinking of renaming the official name into a "brand" commercial, like Vegetable Stand into "Sgt. Peppers Chilli Club" or whatever you like. Moreover, renaming each of the commercial building within one brand will offer more fun for creative minds. As Tellus said, changing the name on individual buildings is not an option, but I would also consider renaming the manufactures, one of my brickyards has already been nicknamed "Pink Floyd".

 

Sounds interesting but what would it require in terms of coding to make the game do this? Hmmmmmm....? I think that may chew up more programming effort than they would probably be willing to expend.
