  1. For the last two or three days, there has been at least one occasion per day that I have tried to view a "movie" for the MM and was given an error message. Regardless of how long I waited (I waited as long as about fifteen minutes or more), hoping to have the green light on the reward, it never appeared and I had to close out of it, thus losing the MM I should have been awarded. This is getting to be a letdown similar to what was experienced before and around Christmas time. Think you guys could put a fix on it please or find a way to offer the rewards after a certain time elapses when this kind of thing occurs?

    And, don't use the 'It's not our fault. It all depends on the vendor' excuse. Bigpoint created the cinema, it lets us click on it, we wait a long time, and then it tells us that we can't do that or we lose the ticket. It doesn't matter that the vendor failed, it matters that you offer it to us and then punish us for using it.

    Same answer different day, this is not a feature provided by Bigpoint it is an external feature.
    We report all the problems but it is beyond our control to do anything about it whatsoever.
     
  4. So it's not bigpoint that gives out the MMs that we pay money for? That's what shows up on my credit card bill. How is it that bigpoint can't have some kind of monitoring system within the vendor offering since it is a bigpoint game. It's called corporate responsibility after all.

    Wait a minute Pirate; I worded that poorly. I know that you can't do a darn thing about it except take the poo we spew at you (sorta rhymes).

    And I clearly remember your complaint about it being released before it was really ready. That means that you're in the exact same boat we are, and you didn't blame it on the vendor in your response.

    So, let's call this thing what it is, something that needs some serious looking into by whoever implemented it with a goal of fixing it such that we aren't constantly disappointed in it. When it works, it's grand, when it doesn't it's totally annoying.

    Try forwarding a link to this discussion as an example of the frustration Bigpoint's players are feeling. I remember that you have done that before, but if they see us complaining often enough, maybe they'll put a timer on it and quit waiting for the darn vendor.

    Now that's what I call constructive criticism....:D

    I could not agree more and I will link this and add my two bobs worth (or cents depending upon your orientation).

    We more than anyone want this fixed, I do not believe that any feature that does not work should be part of any game.
    That being said this gives free money, all be it in exchange for your time, so being a realist I understand that a partly working feature is better than none.

    For the record nobody ever sees you complaining except us, but, it is our job to reflect the feelings of you the players and pass that on wherever appropriate.

    To use your vernacular we are poo filters and as such we do all we can.

    Anyway thanks for your comment and I promise this will be forwarded.

  7. It looks like the cinema is not working at all anymore. At least it hasn't for me yet today. :(

  9. mine is due in 30 minutes, one thing i do when the timer runs out and movies should be there is to log out then reload game that sets the movies avalability fo me :)

    i had never ever a timer, the only thing i see: no new movies available:confused:

    I have also been doing as skippy says and it has been helping in the past .... but in the last week nothing seems to work in regards to any movies or any free money ... Hopefully RC can resolve this issue... seems nobody is happy about it

    Something else I have found is to have absolutely nothing else going on when viewing the movies. Have no rents to collect, no buildings being upgraded, no emergencies in progress, etc. No you can not stop these processes but I have found if I have all of these items completed and am in a dead time on internet activity. The movies download and run completely most of the time. My two cents or bobs worth.

    Just had this issue and tried solution offered by skb13 in thread

    Bad Gateway

    got through the movie and received my reward.

  16. Yeah, I saw that in a different post. I haven't yet had the opportunity to try it, but now that I know, I will be the next time it happens.
