    Hi,

just wondering if there are other ways to boost your city's energy levels without building numerous power stations as that takes the city's mood down!?

I've just upgraded one of my lumber mills as I am struggling to build anything due to lack of beams! Took me 3 days to get enough beams for the upgrade :( and now I need more energy to produce more beams... oh it's a frustrating circle! lol I'm not getting very far in this game!

    Cheers

  2. Hi Amanda__6,

    In short, no.

All buildings (decorations not included) require power.
The exclusive power plants (wind farm, solar power plant) provide power with limited mood loss but require permits which can be purchased with MM.

All Power Plants details can be found here https://board-en.risingcities.com/threads/power-plants.1119/

If you have any houses upgraded to at least level 2 and the improvements to do so, you can lower the energy cost (at least for a time) for the house you place the improvement into. Hope it helps. :)

be sure you look at the improvement. Only improvements that say - xx energy cost will affect your power usage.
