  1. Hello,
I am from the Czech forum and I would like to ask, when the mods have the right to delete post? I posted answer to the letter of new producer, it was polite, but it was deleted. Other my post was deleted today. How the producer will know our opinion, when the mods at Czech forum are doing such censorship?

  2. And I would like to enhance the question: Where can OP make propper complaint if he is repeatedly unhappy with the way Czech moderators operate on the forum? Is there any higher authority over admins making sure they do not abuse their position? Thank you.

To OP: In the meantime feel free to chat and debate here with us. You get to know some superb gamers and practice your English too, so it's all just benefits for you. :)

  3. Hi -Blackcloud-,
sorry to hear you have been having issues.

The forums have certain guidelines. They are available here to view:
    https://board-en.risingcities.com/threads/forum-board-rules.2255/

If any of those rules are broken, that would be a reason for a post to be deleted.

If, as I suspect, you still feel you have done nothing wrong, then your best move would be to send a support query giving exact details of what happened and it will be investigated further.

    The link is: http://www.risingcities.com/?action=externalSupport

    Hope this helps you.

  4. Hi Cheesemeister.

I'm not sure how helpfull the link you provided would be. As far as I know this link gets to Pirate. If he tries that support link from his Czech forum game will it take him to the person he's complaining about? Which definitelly wouldn't do him any good. Like imagine somebody had a complaint to make about Pirate - which can't ever happen with anybody in his right mind as Pirate as an absolute sweetheart - just giving it as an example. :)

For all involved: this player was standardly warned by a moderator that he broke the rules, but disregarded it. Therefore the moderator removed the incriminated posts. Subsequently, the player turned to support, where was everything answered and was again warned of the need to adhere the rules.

  6. Hello Cheesemeister,
thank you for answer. I did use both of your links, but as
nortoncommander suggeted, I think that this my complaint will not get the right person - this is my previous experience from old forum (about 6 month ago) and with the mod, who is not longer on our forum.
I know the rules and I did not break any of them. I did not get any infraction at all, just my two posts were deleted. The second one was on Friday answered by the mod and on Saturday the same mod deleted my post. How is that possible? To delete someones post from the forum is the last resort as I understand it.

    Hello Daffson,
I am sorry, but it is not the truth. I was warrned from the mod not to post anything more there and I did not. My post was deleted the next day, but the answer of the mod under it is still there... he answers to the post, that is so wrong, so it must be deleted?
I am just asking, when the mod can delete someones opinium on this forum. I did not get the answer to that. I am asking here, because that is what the mod recomended to me... but this conversation I had with him on his profile page and as I see now, this discusion is also deleted...
Edit: there is a rule on Czech forum, that it is forbiden to write on the forum my conversation with the support of the game. Is the same rule here too? If so, I can just say, that nothing was answered... but thank you for confirming, that this my complain went to the persons, who I complain about - howelse you would know their answer?
Edit2: I just got an answer from the mod at Czech forum, that mods can delete someones post, when this post is "unnecessary" or making the forum "disorganized". Unnecessary?

  7. hello, all.
-Blackcloud- , i recommended an idea on native forum as well, i got the ok from a moderator there to continue that idea by putting more info on that thread pf mine , then next day i saw my thread deleted.
i was polite and not used trivial stuff.
so i wrote to support department , in my own country's language.
answer from them was that i should use the FAQ there for infos.
then i asked the support department : why delete thread when i had an ok from an admin to continue putting infos ?
reply was like a tall wall in front of me.

    so, what i concluded is:

    - i would have preffered to be answered politely to my thread that i must stop write infos , cause other admin was not informed very well about the forum rules.

    - i would have preffered NOT to be deleted my thread without any reply, cause when doing so i get a message something like a shut door in front of face , even i was extremely polite and non-trivial.

    - on native forum, now i dont visit it as much as i did before. so i visit the ENglish one here. so far i got warm welcoming from players and moderators alike , cheers to all.

    - i talk to PirateLee via email , before i put stuff here, so that history repeating will be avoided.

    - and in case things fall apart here, then players can find me ingame , via private messaging. my ingame name is Turel97 . feel free to add me.

i sustain from all my heart, the freedom of speech , as long as :
    - we use diplomacy ;
    - we all are polite ;
    - we all dont use trivial ;
    - any idea that makes Rising Cities much more nice that now, is passed towards the developers.

also, i stand tall and i will talk to Sepiroth about what i experienced on native forum and if he cant understand it and take measures, then i will not bring anymore new ideas so that Rising Cities game to flourish with new updates.
it isnt a threat at all, but there must be a superior man over forum moderators that can act as judge and so that we talk to him peacefully and not to get doors shut in the face, metaphorically speaking.
    thanks for reading it.

    @-Blackcloud-
If you have a complaint - just send a ticket to support and please do not give distorted information taken out of context. You unnecessarily mislead the English game community.

    Thx!

    Have a good night!

  9. Since we live in free world I would naturaly expect people to have freedom to correctly and politely express their disagreeing views without being censored. Also I assume their right to seek for justice with a higher authority if they think mods powers have been abused. Which seems to be what Blackcloud is doing. Without trying to get involved any deeper as it is obviously none of my bussiness I suggest you allow him freedom to make a polite complaint and seek justice without your further quite unnecessary comments. Nobody is being mislead here. He is just getting simple advice which he is entitled to.

EDIT: Also I suggest we stick to the topic without getting entangled into debates who is or is not right and wrong, as this should be evaluated by that higher authority to which blackcloud is trying to appeal. Thanks for staying on top of it guys. Remember, it's just a game ment to be fun. :)

@blackcloud: I'm deleating my off-topic posts from Producer Letter thread to keep it clean. I suggest you do the same so we remove all our off topic conversation from there. ;)

We are not mislead and have not taken any side. We simply try to help him to take his disagreement to a higher level where he, right or wrong, can vent his side of the matter.
    Imo a reasonable request.

  11. Turel - thanks and I agree with everything you wrote. I think that the mods should performe similar rules on every forum here, not only the English one... and English is not my native language so it is not so easy for me to express my ideas in English and just swich to English forum.
Daffson - you recomend me again the support team, but as you confirmed here, the support team are the mods... And again, to go to the English forum was recomended to me by mod citizenX from the Czech forum.
I think that the mods at Czech forum are doing great job with answering questions to the newbies, posting information about the game and so on. Just sometime it seems to me, that they consider the forum as "theirs" and not as an open space for opinion of the players. That was the reason why I stoped posting there a months ago (and it wasnt just me...). Now I did post somethink, because there is a letter from the new producer and the situation is even worse than it was when I left? You just delete every post you dont like?
I am trying to find out, whether this is the way RC team wants to rule this forums, or whether it is just on Czech forum. RC has the right to rule the forum as they want and it only mean that I will not be a part of it.
I would stop here and just wait if there will be any reaction from somebody above the admins.
Just to explain - I play the game for about a year (lvl 40). For the same time I go to the Czech forum (for last about 6 months just to get information, not to post anythink), so I know the situation there for a long time and I am not a trouble maker. I just belived in change with a new producer...
Good night to everyone and good luck with your cities.

nortoncommander - sure, thanks for reminding that...

General questions forum is not a place for debate. Please refer to Speaker's Corner of Updates and ideas depending on the case.
Posting contexts of support tickets on forum is not allowed. Forum rules are the same on all languages.
Also any problem that cannot be resolved on forum should be addressed by ticket.
    Closed.
