  1. going through some tough times economically in Lincolnpark City and now I am faced with a dilemma. should I build lumber mill now or save up to build
power plant next level? The drop in CCs is mostly because I over-decorated my city.:( I need CCs now! Whats the best way to go about this?

  2. You know what they say: when in doubt just wait. Let the CCs come to you.

Nortoncommander3 has a strong argument you will always get the rents over time. I believe every mayor at some point over builds their city and loses track of their mood and power levels. I would recommend you wait and save up and build the power plant and get your power level back up over 75 % so you are producing at maximum levels. Then at a later date you can build your lumber mill and continue to grow your city or earn more cc's. Patience is a virtue. Long term view will win in the long haul. :)

i personally would build the lumber mill. If nothing else the lumber in there could be sold to finance your power plant. You can get the lumber every 5 minutes and i'd sell it once an hour of playing.

True, If his power levels fall below 75 % his production is reduced by 25 % then all his production facilities would be effected. Costing him more than he would gain from the one lumber mill.

So a level 3 lumber mill with a 75 % power would cost you 4 pieces of lumber at 85 cc each (current lowest price), total 330 cc's per production run, every five minutes. That is more than the price of a small power plant or would pay for a Coal Fired Power Plant in less than two hours and forty minutes. (assumptions cycling the lumber mill every five minutes and no price changes) :) Not to mention the detrimental effect it would have on all other production facilities.
