I cannot find a thread other than the "Thank you for the Easter Event" one for discussion on the New Event, so thought it might be interesting to know what everyone thought of it, and the new buildings etc? Especially since by all recent accounts this was the first "New" Rising Cities Event and buildings for a while.

For my part I had to part with a few US$ to complete it, as Baking the Easter Bread was taking so long! But other than that, it was a good length and I hope that most Mayor's got to finish it ok and enjoyed it :)

Overall I enjoyed it. I'm glad to have some new residences that look great, even if in the end, only one of them is even half-new despite the advertisements. The Modern Private Home is a rotated reskin of the Designer Duplex — albeit a skillfully made one — but the Designer Duplex has decent stats, so I can't complain. It's a little lazy, BP, but I'd take more reskins if they look this good. My main complaint is that as a blue permit, there are no free ones, and it certainly doesn't have the stats of a premium permit at that level.

I loved the event! I think the tweaks done to the event made it even better than last years or was it that my city had grown and I did not have to struggle so hard to bake all of the bread I needed this year. But I did enhoy the event. So two great big thumbs up. I hope the next event is improved like they did this one. :D:cool:;)

I started a bit late, but was able to finish in plenty of time. I really liked the event, and I am so happy that they kept a bakery as a prize! I now have five bakeries and couldn't be happier. :) I like how colorful the Designer Family Home is. I think the Modern Private Home looks very classy. It was an excellent event!

Sorry you missed out on the bakery :( The Easter Bread was definitely a challenge for those bakeries, but I think the event length was designed to take that into consideration. I lost two days where I couldn't log on, but desperate enough for the bakery to use MM to 'cheat' so to speak. I bet Bigpoint's revenue from RC went up generally during the baking period :D I was really hopping (sorry, hoping :p) that the Easter Egg Tree's might have been like the Xmas Tree but happy to get +Mood points without a power lead attached :)
