I have filled all of my positions in all departments and have one trained and waiting for me to hire. My question is that when I trained all of my personal...I went as high of a level as you would let me. At this point I do not want to fire anyone because they are all pretty much at the same level. How do I train new workers at a higher level?

  2. you will have to fire a specialist as only one can be trained at a time in the academy once the academy is empty you can begin training another one

If all of your specialist are trained to the maximium at the academy then there is nothing to be gained by replacing them from new recruits. The specialist do gain experience from being sent out on emergencies there for their training levels do rise over time. Now as their contracts come up for renewel they become more expensive each renewel and you will have to decide whether the cost of renewel is worth the specialists skill. Remember that the new recruit will come in as a Rookie and has to gain experience to become a specialist and that the assignment of specialist is done randomly. Therefore, if you fire your one Detective and hire a Rookie nothing says they will develop into a Detective could be a Captain or Officer.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking here. Do you mean their level of experience? That always starts at 1. If you mean you want workers with higher ability and more traits then this is achieved at the academy: buy points for EPs and 3x Vit-X and distribute the points before beginning the training.

Some workers start with better abilities than others. I hire then immediately sack any bad ones. If they are to be kept I always get the full 100 points and try to reach the gold trait in alertness.

The main problem, which I suspect you are now confronting, is that if you have 2 of each specialist then you can't fire one without leaving yourself vulnerable, and firing any is glum because the chances of turning a rookie into the required specialist is (seemingly less than) 1 in 3, and maybe not for some time.

    Hope some of that helps.
