Energy Level Bug

I was rearranging my city and decided to store the emergency buildings in storage for a couple seconds. I didn't notice it at the time but my energy use did not increase. When I placed them back on the land I noticed a huge drop in my energy. I was curious as to why it dropped so low so I tried to remove them off the land again and see if the energy level increased again and it didn't! I'm in the middle of a quest and losing a lot of production because I am at 75%!! Please help me!

This is really frustrating, I spent a lot of time and effort on this game and I feel so discouraged by this loss in productivity, I can barely keep up with the games demanding quests and still build up my production line, this would be the straw the breaks the camels back for me. The game is hard enough as it is. I calculated the time to complete the birthday quest and its not even feasible for me. At least with this car quest I would be able to finish it at 100% production and produce enough goods to build a coal fired power plant, which would then allow me to start upgrading my production line again.

This is not a solution but a temporary fix in wait for a real fix.
Just before you collect your production goods take your most energy guzzling buildings and put them in storage. Then collect and put them back.
If you don't have a huge energy deflect this can work as an annoying temporary fix.

 

Thanks for the temporary fix! I only removed houses and the game correctly managed my energy. I recorded the whole event incase it went south like it did with the emergency buildings.

Edit: If an admin looks at my account now its 100% production because I used metromoney to buy a windfarm, got lucky with the city hall gift for today. I still feel somewhat cheated out of energy.
