farm and lumber

hi, i have started playing a couple of days ago, after playing for a while and collecting lumber and veg i do not get the option to restart production even with MM. what am i doing wrong/not doing which i should?? please help - sorry my id is 9080742
i forgot to mention that if i log out and log back in again it seems to be working, but only for a few goes

 

My guess is that you are out of Production Points.
If so here is some useful info and make sure you go almost all out with workers.

i am not out of production points and have cleared cache and it is still happening....

 

Hi dazmel, I've just taken a look at your account, and I suspect it is low production points that are causing the problem. You have 131 ( ). It takes 100 PP to make beams in a L1 lumber mill, and 20 for tomatoes, 180 for potatoes in a L1 farm. It won't take much to take you down to 0 again, or at least, not enough to restart these.

Check this FAQ for information about PP costs for manufacturing different items.

As you collect rent, assuming you're meeting needs, you'll collect production points too, so will be able to restart your mills/farms from time to time. Note that if you run out of tomatoes and PP at the same time, you can't get more PP - at this point your best bet would be to buy tomatoes from the Market Place. But you're not there yet, so let's hope it doesn't come to that. Good luck.

 

hi, i understand all that, but it sometimes does not come up with the wheel pop up at all to give the option of production later on in the game. i don't know how else to explain it

 

By "wheel pop up", do you mean the symbol above the factory to show that it's ready for new production? That not showing up can be caused by game lag, particularly if you're on a slow internet connection. I find this myself from time to time - wait 10-30 seconds and it normally appears (at least, for me). I don't think there's anything wrong with your account though.

hi, well it happened again and i waited for the past 5 minutes, but the pop up did not appear! i will have to log out and back in again to carry on which is a pain in the perverbial

 

Have you tried clearing your browser and flash player cache? I find that usually corrects this type of problem.
