"Friendly" advice?

    I have no Rising City friends in my game list. I've managed to reach level 23 without the need, help or participation of any "friends." In fact, Rising Cities plays very well as a solo, stand alone game. So, are there advantages to having RC friends? If so, what are they?

    The friends in the game have no direct bearing on the game. Friends can not gift materials or money to one another. You can communicate with each other directly and less publicly than through the forum. So whether or not you befriend someone is up to you.
