  1. Now after I tested changes for new players and detached myself from my main account it is obvious to me that long term concept for the game is missing. In other words, there is nothing in the game, that would need you to be a certain game level or certain development level to accomplish it and at the same time would be worth high level players' effort. Not only that, the same issue seems to stick out for mid level players already. Since the dev team plays dead bug game and presumably are burried in the messed up code, I'm not sure if it makes any sense to post sugestions and improvements so I posted in Speakers. Just wanted to voice my disappointment here. :)

Will leave it without details now. I might mention some aspects where the game seems to go wrong if the thread goes alive. :)

    Hey norton, please do elaborate?

I've been wondering about this myself, but in a rather hazy way, as I find it difficult to objectively look at the game as a whole while at the same time clinging on to my game play. But I get the impression that those of "us" who do continue to play do so because they sort of create their own goals, whereas generally the game is lacking clear incentives to keep players playing.

I love to disagree with you nortoncommander, but I find I can not do so in good conscious. The only purpose the game has in the upper levels appears to be to continue to do the same repetitive activities over and over again. Only if you have set your on goals or are so stubborn to not admit the lunacy of doing the same thing day after day. I agree with you.

I still would like to hear from the developers on what they plan is, but we have not heard from them since March. This is very frustrating.

  4. Hey ! :) I could write half a dozn of esseys on the topic. In fact I wanted to regularly report my progress and findings of my new City experience but then thought it would be just a waste of time so I didn't. :) Nevertheless it's interesting how the game changed for new players, and it's mostly for better.

Now I'm just thinking that when everything got so rutine and boring I could actually rebuild my Main Norton City and finally start using Emergency system. :) Or is that too crazy? :)

Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. You therefore are not crazy. You did something different and expected a different result. It is people like me who keep plugging along hoping that the game will get better who have to check our sanity.

I agree with billyjim on the plugging along thing, I'm guilty of that, too.

And Norton, whether or not you decide to share at least a glimpse of your findings or more, I'd be one interested reader :)

Well, its refreshing to see u have finally come around to realize what I was trying to say months ago, only to receive ridicule and insults from you for doing so. Oh well all is forgiven, I'm glad to see you have finally seen the light!

  8. Harley, you must have confused me with somebody. :) I don't usualy insult people and my light hearted humor can rarely be honestly understood as ridicule .......... well, will leave that one open ........... But, everybody has their own perception. :)

Whatever you tried to express in the past, it's good you are refreshed now. :) Let me just suggest, maybe try better in the future. ;)
