Hay?

I know hay is supposed to be produced on the farm, but when I looked at the products forum, I didn't see hay there. It's also not something that can be bought.

How do I get hay then?

Hay is produced in the farms @ level 1 during the Classic Car Rally.

 

So hay is only available to grow during the challenges? I'm just trying to figure out why it's not on the products list and how I can get it for the event.

 

Yes. Those products that can't be found in the product list are special items that are produced only during certain stages of events !
Also, the FAQ will tell you how many can be produced and how many Production Points are required.

 

Hay is only available during that stage of the event. In this case, it is available to produce from the moment you click start on "Classic Car Rally" until you move onto the 2nd stage.
Hay cannot be purchased on the market place, it has to be produced. You can, however, choose to MM that stage.

 

Can add that after the event all extra event-goods will be destroyed so don't overdo it.

 

Slightly off topic but related. If the special product is required for an additional level in same event. Say Saw Dust for the Circus Fettuccine. You can produce additional special product for later use in the same event. You can only produce or start production during the stage where the special product is required. The item will not show in inventory but will be there when you reach the next stage that requires that product. Once the event is over all excess special product vanishes.

Really handy for the beer kegs during the biker event.
