hints on getting more metro money

Anyone have any hints on how to get more metro money? Never seem to have enough tobuy mystery buildings etc. Am selective how I use it ie just to renew house improvements or pay for rent collector but don't really want to have to buy them so how do you earn enough?

 

I'm really cagey about how I spend my MM.

No upgrades because I can save up for them.
I have a penchant for Mystery Buildings, so I keep them for that or, once in a while, to buy permits for buildings.

As for getting them, for me it's a case of doing the events that give them as rewards, and playing the Cineplex. I don't find the Cineplex too bad myself, but I know that other players find it disastrously frustrating. I upgraded my City Hall to level eight a few months ago which helps a bit. It coughs up MM every now and then and the amount is definitely better with the higher level, but there's no guarantee of course.

Personally I don't think there's any silver bullet. Unless you buy them, I think getting them is always going to be a bit haphazard.

 

of last resort. Therefore, the main ways to alternatives to raise MM's are:

1. The only certain method of getting large quantities of Metro Money (MM's) is to buy them with cold hard cash. Go to the City Treasury and click on Metro Money Icon, select the Quantity of Metro Money you wish to purchase then click on go to payment and follow the directions. Big Point will happily accept various forms of payment to sell you Metro Money for your game. Be cautious this can get expensive and addictive.
   
2. Also in the City Treasury the Special Tab. Cash for action Click on the offers button will take to Big Point partners who for various tasks or information will give you Metro Money. Again use discretion.
   
3. The Cineplex -- You can earn up to 5 MM's per video or ad you watch. You must first build the Cineplex available after you reach level 8. Note the videos are provided by outside vendors and are not controlled or monitored by Big Point or Rising City, so if there is an issue they can not assist in solving these problems. There are currently up to ten videos a day. The actual number varies depending on your location and language playing the game in.
4. Emergency System -- Earning medals by responding to emergencies and redeeming them can yield Metro Money rarely. This is rare, but a nice surprise when it happens. Enjoy them when it occurs.
5. Events -- Certain of the weekly and special events give as level rewards Metro Money. Simply do the events as instructed and complete the level including the Metro Money reward.
