How come someone else ALWAYS beats you to a purchase?

    Really getting ticked off at the Auction House!..It's a bit strange that someone else ALWAYS gets to a purchase before you, no matter how quick you are at trying!!...***??!! Anyone else experienced this carry-on??

    there can be thousands of people viewing the market place at the same time, all are looking for the cheapest price.
    is there anything else I can help you with on this topic.

    A more thorough answer would be that tassie-devil is correct.

    Think of the market place as the commodity markets (which is how the powers that be set it up) verses a retail store.

    In a commodity market the seller sets the price by offering so many of an item at such a price the buyer. This is a one on one transaction. There is only one buyer and one seller. The first one gets the deal. Therefore, the first one to place a bid wins the contract and closes out the offer. Leaving the rest of us looking for a new deal. :(
