Icons not working

After playing the game for about 30 mins all the little icons that pop up (emergency, production and rent collection) do not take me anywhere ie nothing happens

 

Sounds to me like you're getting disconnected. You won't always get the notification, or sometimes it comes after trying to interact, like collecting rent. If that's the case, trying to access the market will usually confirm if you've been disconnected. All you can do is refresh, and try to make sure nothing else is using a lot of bandwidth, like YouTube for example. Peak hours for internet traffic will result in more disconnections as well.

None of the above solved my problem. It is just too frustrating having to refresh every 30 minutes or so . NFQ
