Develop Improvement for Manufacturing buildings. Just as housing has improvements, use same code with different images for commercial. Reducing time, increasing output, reducing cost of production points. Saw blades for lumber mill, farm equipment images for farm, filters for power plants and brick as examples. could buy in packs from treasury just as housing has and get as reward items .

Understanding only current options are to use X-Presso.

  2. hello. i would love to see this implemented.

Yet another suggestion on how production could be increased.
There is just so much demand for this.

I think it would be a good way to increase output if you are unable to upgrade it!! Gets my vote :):):)

  5. It might be interesting to learn how much demand there realy is. Is the vast and overwhelming silent majority just happy with the production as it is? All I can see so far is a "huge" demand of a few individuals out of several milion players. :)

Nevertheless, the OP's idea does sound a lot more interesting to me then just "crude" 4th level upgrade, and would probably be a lot more gentle in it's over all effects on gaming, much less likely to be causing any abrupt negative changes. :) I'm nearly tempted to support this idea, but not yet. The time has not yet come .............

@nortoncommander As of writing this post has 33 views; there are 3 agreements with the original poster and only yourself disagreeing, and even that is pretty half-hearted ;). There are several other posts on the same basic theme. So, yes, I think there is demand for something to be added to manufacturing capability.

  7. Well yes, sure there is a demand. And by your "list" you do confirm my notion that it is a few individuals out of several milion players. :) Or are you saying that out of about 30 looking only 4 demand? Want to count the percentage of those 4 to several milions? :p ;)

I still think it's better for the game as a whole to sit where we are with production volume for a few more years before the devs make such an irreversable and damaging step "back/forward". :)

As long as there is an overproduction of goods I will vote no to increase production.

I think there should be a way to increase production mainly bricks I never have enough bricks. Everything else I seem to have lots of but with only 5 brick yards and at max level you get 16 bricks each and of course I can't use all 5 for bricks cause you need other stuff too (i.e. cement, etc.) So i'm lucky if I get 96 bricks per day (That's logging in twice per day).

  10. Of course there is one, already mentioned. X-presso use which halfs the time of production. May help depending on your playing schedule, especially with tiles and roof tiles. I regulary use X-presso on tiles, often on roof tiles. Especially when I just want to build or upgade something. :) Last time I had a go on tiles for CH upgrades my PP stock went down well over half a milion in a few days. :)

Appart from that, there seems to be enough brickyard products on the market, suggesting the production output of the game as a whole is sufficient.

But as I already mentioned above, the idea of "RI" variation for production facilities looks fun and somewhat attractive. :)

That's all good if I want to spend real money to buy X-presso.

  13. I get X-pressos from the beach, quests, City hall. But the possibility to buy is always there if somebody wants more. :) I use them very carefully, so haven't run out of them.

so far from beach and city hall I have got 1 at a time maybe 5 a week, have had some from events tho.

  15. Of course beach and CH is based on random generator. Beach can give up to 5 in one barrel according to my experience, and CH gives more with higher levels. L6 I think occasionally gives me up to 10 X-pressos. It was less generous on lower levels. As there was not much real need for X-pressos at lower levels I kept saving them for future, now they come in handy. Just devide it wisely between event production, Mastery challenges and long term goods production as needed and based on when I expect to log in the game again so as not to waste them. I sure still have to use them sparingly, but even this "little" is usefull and helps me move on.

Actually, I remember buying all my bricks at the beginning as I was very reluctant to build any brick yards at first and started building them only a long time after they actually become available. It seemed smart move at that time based on my development strategy. :)

I am about half way through lvl 20 on my city. My brickyards are still level 1. I get 4 bricks every 3 hours for them. I would love to upgrade but so many other things require materials to upgrade, build etc. I just don't seem to have the hours in the day to get enough materials for everything that needs to be done. These improvements you suggested would definitely be welcome in my book. You have my vote hands down. :)

    very nice idea!

a little push on a production run can help you start that upgrade without having to wait for another batch do be done, this could also help in those events with odd number requirements, where they dont all fit in a batch :)
