    Hello Mayors,

    Weekly Quests

    * Due to a strange error in our scheduling system, the Flea Market appeared unannounced. We have already restarted our servers, and afterwards it has disappeared again. Players who have already started the Flea Market can of course finish it.
Tomorrow we will continue with our normal schedule.

    Boulders

" We are really glad that most of you enjoy the recent changes in our obstacle mechanics. Nonetheless, there have been some complaints about the spawning rate of the obstacles.

Before the change, many players were unhappy about the obstacle feature. It always took a long time and effort to clean up the playfields, and to many players it felt like a punishment for not playing. Moreover, it was quite annoying to have yet another tree spawning where you just wanted to place your new building.

In order to fix these issues and irritations, we decided to implement an essential change. Removing obstacles is now fast, efficient and easy, but to maintain the balance of the game, we needed to reduce the spawn frequency as well. Obstacles only spawn once a day and allow you to enjoy a disturbance-free day of playing. In consequence, the spawn rate is lower as the total amount of obstacles is smaller on a daily basis. However, it might give the impression of being even less in comparison to the old spawning rate, but it fits well into the new concept of the game. As the development of the game progresses, there will be more changes and you will be not as dependent on drop-rates anymore as you are now.

    * All obstacles that could not be removed from the playfields should now be gone or removable. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope that there are no longer any permanent obstacles in the game.
